It's a must in my opinion. I live 1.5 miles away from the highway I take for work. I like to let things get to normal operating temp before I get going. I wish it had a turbo timer so they can get down to temp before I shut it off.

Good choice, I did the same and love it. Amber for turn signals, wicked bright reverse, and plate lamps. Not cheap but well worth it.
