I'd probably have "spare parts" leftover when I finished

I THINK that maps updates are only available by downloading them to flash drive. That and paying $40 to ford for a predownloaded flash drive. The website told me that I get 1 complimentary maps update. I usually plug my phone in and use Google maps on CarPlay

As long as it fixed the SYNC issues, that’s a good thing. The input I received on this forum was invaluable.

Thanks for your help. I was just online chatting with ford and Brianna told me that the file method is no longer available. She said to have the car hook up to WiFi, enable automatic updates, turn off the car and then ford will be notified in a couple of days

I’ll post my thoughts

I looked but there was none. Unless the 2 files contained it, I just saw the folder file, a 1kb file, and another file with 0kb. Should I have opened one of them?

I think it worked!! I have a full map. We’ll see if it keeps my preset pages. It’s having issues (updating?) Sirius now but it shows the channel selections as being there, though. THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR THE HELP!!

My stock Pirellis are down to 4/32’s. Back in the day they’d be good until I saw metal bands but I’m going to Costco soon and they’ll install my Michelin 21” Pilot A/S. Looking forward to it
