    H&R springs now available

Subbed, definitely want to order a set. Interested to see pics, especially right after installation, then after a few days to see how much they'll settle. I dont think they designed he springs to drop too much, especially on stock struts. Hate to blow them out. As long as they level it out a bit...

What did you learn that's not in the Users Manual?

My 17 super duty platinum also did that, basically, the red light replaced the mandated red reflector that vehicles have on the door panel. It's a safety feature that looks much better than a tacky red reflector.

What did you learn that's not in the Users Manual?

When you use the front window washer, a nozzle under the front camera also squirts the front camera, same goes for the rear, when you wash the rear window, it washes the rear camera.

What torque wrench would you recommend?

Mine is a Carlyle t ha t I got from Napa. It goes up to 250ft lbs. I bought it for my f350 dually that I traded in for my ST. I can't remember what I paid for it, but its certainly cheaper than the Snap on, Mac, and Matco ones. The one I have works great, but I don't use it all that much, only...

    Custom wheel build measurements.

Definitely good info to share and have. Eventually I'd like to go with a different wheel, but I have other mods that more important right now. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    Custom wheel build measurements.

I will be running police interceptor steel 18" wheels for winter, as the PI has the same brakes as the street performance package. The PI wheels will clear calipers. Combined with Firestone Winterforce 2 UV tires, should be good to go in our Northeast weird winter weather. Sent from my SM-N975U...

    Oil and Filter Cartridge Change

I always do my own Maintenance, and repairs on my vehicles. I went to a vocational school for automotive. I have air tools, two tool boxes, compressors, and my own lift. I work on my friends vehicles too, to help them out. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    Oil and Filter Cartridge Change

Just did my first oil change at 1100 miles, to get the new engine debris and machining dust, etc. out. I used Castrol Edge Advanced. I used a MC filter. Heads up on the MC filters, looks like MC has revised the filter, the PN is now FL-2062-a. The new filter is made in brazil and no longer has...

    1000 mile oil change.

After doing some research on bobistheoilguy, I have read that Castrol Magnatec 5w30 seems to hold up very well against fuel dilution and viscosity breakdown and other results after reading owners oil analysis reports in the forum for ecoboost engines. Seems to be very popular choice among EB...

What would you have purchased if there were no Explorer ST?

I was looking at CPO Durango Srt's. Also drove a Pilot Black edition. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    Your ST's pet name??

My ST's name is Opal, as the metallic bits in the Star White paint have a opal gemstone effect in the sunlight. My paint on top, pic of an opal on the bottom. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    Wife Wants Explorer ST

My ST is a 3/20 build date. So far at 700 miles, not one hiccup. No rattles, squeaks, clunks or weird stuff has happened (knock on wood). However, the day I got it home, I did put it on my lift and looked for obvious stuff, loose connectors, bolt check, re-torqued lugnuts(150ft.lbs) loose clamps...

Beat up by a car wash

Hand wash only for mine. I use the Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic line of products and so far I like the results. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

    1000 mile oil change.

I'm at 691 miles, just being easy on her until I change the oil at a 1000 miles. Probably going K&N for the oil filter. Haven't decided on oil yet, I've run Mobil 1 and Pennzoil Platinum in my other cars. I ran Motorcraft in my 6.7 powerstroke. Going to do more research on oil for the ecoboosts...

    Cheap black lug mod

Had a set of black plastic lugnut covers from my camper, test fit one on the lugnuts of the ST, perfect fit! So much better looking imho. I will upgrade to the black gorilla lugnuts in the future, but for now, these work perfectly. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

What did your Ford Explorer ST replace?

Mine replaced a 2017 f350 platinum crew cab dually. A tree fell on our 34 ft keystone cougar fifth wheel camper. We decided not to replace the camper. The truck pretty much paid for our ST. We wanted a three row suv to take friends and family with us on trips to the beach and other places where...

New owner Sport mode/ turbo very underwhelming

My dealer filled mine up with 93, I requested it, they sent a guy out, he came back and showed the receipt to verify it was 93. I'm still on the first tank, but the 100 mile drive home in eco, I averaged 23.8. I don't know how accurate the system is, I will hand calculate on the next fill up. I...
