And vice versa: I know little about air suspension, but a decent amount in spring/shock/sway bar/etc.
Adding a front splitter should reduce lift, but be weary of aero balance
Agree on rebound w/air suspension. Could you add air under compression to assist with rebound? The tough part would be...
I’ll be honest, I know near zero about air suspensions.
From what I can guess, to raise the car, you increase pressure in the bags, which by nature, would “stiffen” the bag. In essence, raising the car, increases the spring rate. Lowering the car is the opposite
A front bar would increase...

Side-by-side comparison of my car to a stock Explorer, mainly the ride height. You forget how tall these are stock after you lower them. This was a nice visual reminder of the massive, positive change
A quick note, silicone couplers can be notoriously difficult to slide over metal piping. I initially sprayed WD40 to get them to fit, but then I thought back to my Evo days, use hairspray. It’s initially slippery allowing the coupler to slide into place, but then gets sticky ensuring a sealed fit.
Engine bay pics. Pardon the dust
To work with the aFe intake, Brett made his hotside piping cross OVER the intake manifold. The stock piping runs in-front of the motor and under the intake.
This threw me for a massive loop (ontop of the BOV) as I couldn’t figure out how to route the new pipes...
CVFab FMIC installed, along with aFe intake, FenFab hot and cold pipes and FenFab black billet emblems.
I opted for the Tial BOV.
Unbeknownst to me, my car didn’t come with a BOV. What I’m guessing is the ECU uses the electronic throttlebody to vent pressure when the throttlebody would normally...
I’m not a huge fan of the passenger side intake pipe going all the way across the engine bay. They probably grab more air being the aFe still relies on the stock snorkel. His hot pipes were a bit of a bear with the aFe. I’ll post pics tomorrow
Zero rubbing with the 315s. I went with the 22s for...
I’m doing FenFab charge pipes as I speak. I don’t see a BOV on my stock pipes Will running a Tial BOV throw a code, or send me into limp mode? Do I have to do anything with the ECU? Where do I run the line off the T? Or should I cap where the Tial goes for now? I’m very confused
I currently have a Thermal 3”, which my wife hates. I’m going back to stock, but purchased the Gibson mufflers. Do you or anyone have any audible comparisons between the two?
I don’t want to hack the exhaust, only for my wife to hate it too
We’re a one car family, so she has no other options to...
Quick thing about Vossen wheels; Vossen wheels come with their own lugnuts. Why is this a talking point? The tapered edge of their lugnuts spin freelyfrom the lug itself. This minimizes scratches in the lug holes when taking on/off your wheels
