I see that on other things too. Sometimes my phone's GPS does weird stuff, other times at work when I have a bunch of trucks on scene at a call and one of them is randomly doing circles a block away but it's actually parked. Also seen trucks show up in the middle of the lake, and I can guarantee...
Most likely since the Lincoln is a luxury model, no doubt they want the owners to barely lift a finger to do anything, even something as simple as lifting the hood to add washer fluid.
With that being said, the Explorer ST is still not cheap, and you would think for $50-60k that they might be...
I remember hearing stories from years ago of assembly line workers hiding random objects inside the frame rails of cars they built. One was a bottle with a note inside it that, when eventually discovered, was purported to say something along the lines of "Now you know what the knocking noise...
Glad someone came up with these. My ST hasn't been built (that I know of) or delivered yet, but I took a look under the hood of all three that I test drove and couldn't believe they went with a prop rod in such a terrible location. I guess, in theory, since the new hood releases are the two-pull...
I generally try to let whatever vehicle I'm driving warm up just long enough for the oil to be circulated fully and for the high idle to drop down to normal. A couple minutes in most conditions. If it's actually cold out, 5-10 minutes. If it's mega, mega, mega cold, 10-20.
With so many electronics, solenoids, motors, etc. in cars now, I have learned from experience that some weird noises are pretty much to be expected. My soon-to-be-previous car's electronic throttle has made a loud electronic whining and clicking for a minute or two after the engine is shut off...
"Not bad",
"Pretty comfy",
"Good seating position",
*got onto highway onramp and went from 30kph to 120kph by the time I hit 2/3rds of the way up the ramp*
"HOLY SH*T"
I'd be interested to know what the difference is between the brakes in the Street Pack and those in the High Performance pack. I've taken three test drives, all in Explorers equipped with the Street Pack, and the brakes were, shall we say, grippy. I can only imagine what anything further...
Well mine is being ordered so I won't have it until late March/early April by best estimates, but at that time it will replace a 2009 Pontiac G8 that I've owned since 2011.
Sounds a lot like an O2 sensor has come unplugged since both the data circuit and the heater circuit are throwing codes. Either unplugged or the circuit is otherwise broken somehow, like a burnt-through wire or a cut wire or something similar. If it's sensor 2 it should be a downstream one if...
I asked the salesman about the High Performance Pack today during our rather long conversation and he indicated he has never seen it in Canada either. Think it's safe to say we don't get it here. Also I remember in the hype leading up to the release of this car, they talked about it having an...
