Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I don't understand why Ford is putting the rear 2 bolt subframe assembly in their Lincoln Aviator while the ST gets the single bolt subframe? I've driven the Aviator recently, it is of no comparison to the ST in terms of performance. Why won't Ford beef up the performance model to handle hard...

Poll: How many have experienced a "rear axle bolt fracture" (POLL CLOSED 6-4-22)

Those with failures, what's the build date of their ST? Curious if they failures occur in a short production run.

    Winter wheels and tires

Purchased winter tires & rims. Nokian R3's and Fast FC04 in 20". Wheels have been ceramic coated, just waiting for temps to drop and snow to come to put on the ST.

    Winter Tires and Rims

I'm also looking for 20" wheel options for winter use. Curious, are the FC04's a direct fit rim or do they require mounting rings, etc?? I am concerned about the difference in bore size from stock to the Fast Wheels FC04's.

    SCT tuner

Based on your knowledge & experience with tuners SCT vs HP, etc. Curious if you think I could achieve better numbers using an HP tune & knowledgeable tuner over canned tunes made by SCT for my 2015 Ford 6.2L. While the SCT woke up the truck some what, I am left wanting more. Part of me...

Block Heater - Where Does Your Cord Run??

Just wondering what people have done with their block heater cords. Ours came secured under hood, zip tied in place to the right of the hood latch when facing the motor. Personally not a fan of having a block heater cord swinging out of the hood opening. I'm hoping to relocate the cord so it...

    Oil catch cans

I should of taken a picture with mine "installed" to show proof of how tight the hoses were. Your top hose is loose compared to how mine was.

    Oil catch cans

Received my JLT catch can, went to install it today...you know the "15 minutes install". Not so much. Was a PITA trying to get the original hose unclipped. Then the install, while attaching the threaded J-clip to the radiator support, note it doesn't just press on, it requires a tap from a...

Curious what people are using for winter tires? Keeping stock, aftermarket upgrades to both tires & rims? I'm in the market for winter rims & tires. I like the Blizzak DM-V2's for tires. What are you using for your winter set up??

    Bang and Olufsen opinion?

Had some nice aftermarket head units in past vehicles. Including what was Alpine's top of the line in 80's & 90's such as the 7390, 7618 and 7909. But my favorite was the Pioneer FHP85, loved that head unit.

Mark Levinson in Lexus beats the B&O hands down.

    Coolant Leak at 900km

Spoke to a Ford Service manager today, asked why I didn’t even get a low coolant warning. He said there is no low coolant sensor on the vehicle. There’s a coolant temperature sensor, which wouldn’t of tripped because it needs coolant to operate. There is also a cylinder head temperature...

Had my first issue in Drumheller over July 1st. Potentially a catastrophic failure, I hope caught before any damage was done to the motor. Refer to Maintenance, Warranty Issues & Trouble forum, titled Coolant Leak at 900km.

    Coolant Leak at 900km

I will be sending Ford of Canada a letter with video & pictures displaying their failure. Vehicle back from local dealer, when I left it there I reminded them that the cooling system now had lots of air in it from the leak and coolant/water I added to get it there. They never purged the...
