    Bad day for the ST

Sorry about your ST but really glad no one was hurt!

Another broken exhaust story - Have a question for everyone

So this happened to me yesterday: I was able to get it off the ground with a cinch strap and drive it off of the freeway. It is now sitting about 8 miles from my house. My question is can I drive this the last 8 miles without doing any damage to my engine/turbos? Also planning on ordering...

Best Explorer ST 2022 exhaust just bought today

I found that the shroud that has either the bolts or the rivets at the bottom is held in place in so many other locations. I drilled the rivets out and didn't go back in with anything. To me, the biggest holder of that shroud is the bolts at the crash bar one both sides.

Been a member for a while but never really posted so I’ll start here

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful ST. Well done on the mods. I have +25 wheels myself so I am an outlier too!

    Whipple Intercooler Install Fun

The traffic around here is tough but I live and work where I do by choice so I really can't say too much. I'll let you know when I am doing my front and rear sway bars in case you're doing the same.

Broken lower control arm proof - Not spamming

I agree with @FORZDA3 and @2020FordRaptor. Also if you have a nice aftermarket part to sell I think there are areas on this forum to post them with that in mind. What makes this post and the previous one smell funny to me is that the company that makes these aftermarket control arms and the OP...

    Broken front lower control arms

I'm not a conspiracy theory guy but this almost feels like marketing. Not that there is anything wrong with that

    Whipple Intercooler Install Fun

I'm with you on the rivets. The bigger deal honestly was the mixed up bracket. And you will appreciate this being a Bay Area guy. My shop is in San Mateo and I live in San Rafael. And my rivet gun was at my brothers in Livermore! My only other vehicle at my shop is an old (read VERY old) F350...

    Whipple Intercooler Install Fun

I'm not sure what bracket I have. But the folks at Steeda are getting me a corrected one so all good there with the exception of having to pull the entire thing apart again. I watched three different videos and they must all be 2020's as they all had bolts. Not a big deal but definitely a...

Eibach Springs - Bump Stops or Wheel/Tire Combo

There are guys on here that run 305's on a +30 offset so it wouldn't seem like the tires would be the issue. But like you mentioned, an easy way to tell is to put the stock setup back on and see if you get the same results. I did not trim the bump stops when installing my springs Looks good...

Eibach Springs - Bump Stops or Wheel/Tire Combo

I'm sure pictures would help everyone see what was going on. I think most people on here are running 22's with a +30 offset. I am running 22x10.5 wheels with a +25 offset and 285 tires and have no issues. I am lowered on H&R springs. Is 20et a +20 offset?

    Whipple Intercooler Install Fun

Thanks. And glad you had instructions that were accurate. Interesting that yours is a '21 and has the rivets. You'd think someone would update the instructions by now. When I get the correct bracket I plan to drill out the rivets and go back in with new rivets. Doing what I did this last time is...

    Whipple Intercooler Install Fun

I installed my intercooler yesterday and it was pretty simple using all of the online info available. I did have one big glitch and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The video I used has you removing the four bolts at the very bottom of the main shroud as the last thing to do...

Almost time to replace 21" Pirellis any recommendation?

I run Toyo Proxes and love them. I think the Proxes Sport comes in the stock size.

    Tune Question from a novice

Thanks to both of you for the info. I figured the out of state relative was the move but wasn't sure. I'm not looking for maximum performance but am interested in the enhanced shift patterns so am going to check out the Cobb option.

    Tune Question from a novice

Sorry if this is a repeated question but how does a Californian get a ZFG (or similar) tune for their ST? I didn't plan on doing any engine mods to my ST, only suspension. However, on the advice of many members here, I ordered the Whipple IC this weekend to keep the temps down on the turbos. In...
