Found the fix for the rear window air noise

Curious, did the dealer say what aftermarket air screen? Wondering if a different test would identify whether it's the window channel gap or the actual trim piece. What if you ran the tape down the moveable glass section right along the gap, but not actually taping the trim piece to the glass?

    Two questions. (With pics)

The Center console Key Fob holder comes in handy when you park near certain locations that overwhelm the signals from the fob to the car. I have two spots here in my home town that if I shut the ST off, I get a dash warning to restart immediately or I'll have to put the key in that slot...

    JACK POINTS

The lift points are that edge you're looking at, if you look at the top of the Ford jack, it has a groove for that edge, the Potauto Adapter allows standard round plate topped jacks to lift without damaging that standing seam.

    JACK POINTS

Thanks to STJIM for bringing this up as it got me under my ST where I discovered that some dealership shop genius also couldn't figure out those (when you're under the side) well marked lift points and put their lift pads 4 inches forward under a (Not Intended for lift) area and damaged the...

    More dealer hackery

Got under mine to check the (VERY Obvious marked lift points) and found the same tabs damaged on both sides. Thanks for the heads up, and I'll be cleaning up their work and priming at least before MN Winter hits....The lift points even have two molded arrows pointing at each other and there's a...

    Old man from West KY

I'm thinking Jim (Symetry the OP) may have started something, like a Geezer Gear Head Group of ST owners. Mine's still pretty stock and I mostly plan on cosmetic alterations after lowering and sway bar upgrades. I've come from a '69 Mach I to and through many other fast toys and the ST is my...

Just out here glowing in the sun.

I vote that Unbroken's ST should be featured in the ExplorerST.org Banner logo, I mean there's three blues and a red there already.....

Nice wrapped C Pillar, been considering doing just that.

Different graphics for red ST mirror lights?

There are many aftermarket puddle light kits that allow a huge variety of customization and you can just block the stock ST lights with tape.

    Blackstone Oil Analysis Reports

I've done Blackstone reports on my past vehicles, including my Spyder and wife's scooter, just to get their comparison's to all their standards. I held off changing my wife's '12 Focus until the Ford Oil Service notice came up. Got the extra TBN test when the first notice came up at 8,850 Miles...

    Liftgate keeps closing

Another thread on this issue has even mentioned reflections shining near the hitch, I've used just my hand to flick next to the hitch and made it open and or close on the flick of a wrist.... IT's way more sensitive than my wife's '17 Escape....

    Lane keep assist

And I have tested both LKA and LC on cruise through a local road with a very distinctive S curve, hands off the wheel and the Explorer tracked right through (no other vehicles present, hands off the wheel for just the S curve portion). But That RED Wheel shows up eventually.

Disable Auto Stop / Start feature

+1 on the AutoStop Eliminator, I got it based on the beginning of this thread and have never regretted it. Works too easy. Worth every penny.

How to disable hands-free liftgate feature???

WOW, So many folks complain about NOT being able to get this feature to work when they want it. I Do Sincerely apologize for being so flippant when I cracked unwise to Rossi... I would love to find out how it works accidentally or unintentionally. I always believed I had to kick my big size 11...
