I completely agree with hating the de-contenting. The dealer called to ask whether I’d trade my 21 for a 25 (of course he’d want some bucks). I said NO. Charge me $20 more and put a light in the glove box!

Can’t you simply tap into the fuse panel (below and left of the steering wheel) and then route the wire to wherever you need it?
