    Ebay splash guard review

For those hoping they will reduce the amount of dirt on the rear window don't get to excited. We have been in the mountain this week and they haven't done anything to prevent the rear window from getting dirty. Our 2010 edge did a good job keepong the rear window clean the Explorer aero on the...

Explorer deleting second row climate controls

Trying to explain to supply chain and execs about secondary sources for chips is a mind numbing futile exercise..... Wut you mean there are only a handful of fab plants GLOBALLY that make wafers just find another supplier...... When digikey and mouser are ot of capacitors shit hit the fan a long...

    Predictions on gas prices

I am going to copy a post I made on another forum For those that keep saying we are behind on production because of the lack of federal permits, can any of you tell us the production #s tied to those permits if they are granted today or the split of federal production vs private? I am in no...

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

    Predictions on gas prices

WTI is ~$110/barrel right now Even if the US operators wanted to pick up 100 rigs tomorrow it wouldn't happen, 100s of rigs were laid down and scavenged for parts over the last two years. Maybe in 4 months the contractors can get rigs refurbished and ready but that's assuming they can find...

    Towing Mileage

I always find it interesting when people are surprised they get better MPGs with CC off compared to on.... Cruise control is a basic feature, you give it a # to hit and it will do what ever it can to achieve it. Its not going to lift as you crest a hill, it wont lift going down a hill like one...

    Chicago Assembly Plant production downtime

I was surprised my smart ass reply about the subframe didn't get more traction when he answered..... So did they make the switch to hoard them for the Aviator and the RWD ST?

Anything i can do? Audio wise!

I cut the old sub out and used the factory box, I also used the inputs for the sub and ran them to a standalone amp. It might not be up to some peoples standards but I need the spare tire well for storage and well the spare as we take 2-3 cross country drives a year. This sounds infinitely...

    Looking for fuel mileage advice...

Using my foot the computer will not be able to do that. When the cruise is set and you drive up a hill it adds throttle to maintain your set speed because that's all it knows how to do.

    Looking for fuel mileage advice...

I know what these are capable of when driven with fuel economy in mind :) This was leaving from Asheville headed back to Houston and driving through Atlanta at 1 pm..... The ST hyper miles extremely well if you know what your doing, the 30 mpg avg was on two lane "mountain" roads headed out of...

    Looking for fuel mileage advice...

Something I have been thinking about for those of us in the south, in Houston during the summer ambient will be 90°-100° it has shown the car will heat soak easily after a pull with 70° ambient what are the chances the charge temps are high enough when ambient is near 100° that it starts to add...

Has anyone done PPF on their windshield?

I talked to my installer about a McLaren he did for a guy who is a track rat, its not normal PPF and it prevents chips but he said it is a major PITA to remove when the time comes to replace it.

How many people have had driver side heated seat issues?

My driver's side died at some point in the last year 23k on it, living in Houston it doesn't get used much especially this month but when we got to Memphis on Monday when it was 30* in the morning I wasn't very happy.... Will be taking it in when we get back

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

To unsnap the window are you talking about those two pull tabs that are attached to the white pieces on the window? If so I can get both to move but the track assembly won't budge and I have all the plastic screws loose.

    Ceramic coating - Avalon King

If you take care of it and do regular maintenance it will last as long as the manufacturer claims assuming they are a reputable company. Get the right kind of soap and you should be fine, some have "boosters" that help keep the hydrophobics working. I have been using p&s bead maker on my car...

2021 ST rattling bulking noice going over small bumps!

Nope its a design "feature" numerous people have taken theirs in including me and not a single dealer has zeroed in on the source. Ford started telling dealers its normal.....
