    I'm Impressed!

From what I understand is turbo timers were used to keep the engine running so the oil supply is not cut off while the turbo/s were still running at high RPM. These things run at very high rpm and if you shut the engine off the is no lube for the the bushings/bearings, the timer allows them to...

Ford Pass Service Engine Soon Warning Message

Extended warm up time usually indicates a partially stuck open thermostat, a simple repair if you want to do it yourself. Or wait until the MIL is on and let Ford do it if you're still under warranty.

    PIU struts/shocks

Ours also went out at just under 17K, the right rear was clunking so loud we didn't even drive it until the replacements came. But I used the original bolts with no issues so far. The PIU shocks seem to be a nice upgrade, but hopefully some aftermarket replacements show up soon.

    Ford Performance Tune

I haven't touched mine since then too! The tech said he's saw what happened but thought it was an isolated incident, looks like it's not just me.

    Ford Performance Tune

Yes, I'm also happy with the tune. It's perfect for our daily driver.

    Ford Performance Tune

Looking forward to the respnse they give you. After I tuned my ST I updated my turner and it wiped it clean, I had to contact customer service and he helped my download my stock tune and FP Tune to the device again. So I haven't been really excited about checking for updates after that...

    My ST died today

Sorry to hear that, how many miles are on your ST? If you had a Forscan or other scantool you can monitor the fuel pressure pids while cranking the engine, which is probably what they will do. Then determine if it's a fuel or spark issue. Good luck!

    Steeda Subframe bushings

Did you contact the dealer to get your subframe part number?

    PIU struts/shocks

I've put only 225 miles on my rear PIU shocks and they definately feel stiffer with improved cornering. But we'll know if that's just in my mind when the facts come back.

    Bringing the Heat

Please share your thoughts on the Yokohama tires, I've had good luck with them in the past but couldn't find that size when I purchased mine. Maybe next time!

Thanks, she wanted the black ST but this one seemed unique at the time. Now they're everywhere lol!

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

LOL! Yeah when I did the Gibson exaust she didn't seem too thrilled, but she's since warmed up to it. Sometimes when I accelerate she grins and says 'Listen to your girl!'. Of course I have to respond with 'you're my only girl'! But I bought her a new diamond ring for our 30th and she doesn't...

Brake Fluid Reservoir - Pedal Feel Changed

That would have zero effect on the pedal feel unless the wrong brake fluid was used, if the dealer said they installed the brakes I would have them look at it. Even if they say nothing is wrong it will be on record if something does fail or you have any future issues.

Ford tune just got updated to 2023 models

Yeah, I find that hard to believe if it was done correctly.

    Cylinder Order/Numbering

    Yes, that's correct.

    Aftermarket wheel thread.

It looks like the outer edge of the tire may slightly rub the rear inner fender liner at full lock, but not enough for any concern. No noise or any issues, I like the thicker sidewall too.
