There is no bracing on this pipe I would not say that my occurrence is a representative of spd overall.

You can see where the weld barely overlapped and can see shiny metal where it broke not even penetrating looks like it just peeled off

To me this looks like the weld just didn’t overlap onto the cat portion and did dot penetrate basically hot glued together.

Purchased a full set of husky impact sockets from home depot short and deep with a few adapter/swivel/extenstions and was fully expecting them to be garbage but they are great no issues 4 years later...

Yes correct the only modification to them was I had a vband at the very end of them welded on where they meet the mid pipes. I'd say this is more of a product fault specially after speaking to customer service saying it was a known issue with their version ones and how clean the break was. These...

I have spd's didnt have any complaints with them until I snapped one above the cat on Monday. I made a post on it haven't heard of this in any other cases but thought I'd share.

this is gravity pulling it down i can effortlessly nudge it and it wants to line up with where it broke. I am disappointed to hear the new cvf dont have the bracket as i feel like the movement contributed to this break

Since cvf and fenfab are 2.5 outlet and mid pipes are 3” inlet should I have them cut the 2.5” outlet off and weld on a 3” section to the downpipes then clamp to mid pipes? Any thoughts or other suggestions?

I purchased the downpipes used so not sure how warranty would work with them unfortunately
