A good chance it is the battery state of charge. Try resetting the BMS to see if that helps. i did that to mine about a year ago and it helped mine. Battery will be 6 years old next month.

I don't think you can do it your self. I would check with a locksmith that does motor vehicle keys.

Depending on when you bought it there may still be power train warranty. It it good for for 5Years/60K mikes.

And you might want to replace that C clip.

I doubt it would be warranty due to age and mileage.

Don't be afraid to do it a second time. I needed to with mine. My battery is closed to 6 years old and works fine. Even the ASS works.

You are correct. They do have AGM batteries.

I hope it continues for you. With mine I reset it a few times and it has been good for a long time now. The ASS even works better. LOL

That is used to put the vehicle in neutral if it does not start. The directions should be in the owners manual.

You could also try resetting the BMS. Easy to do and it might work.
