In the early high performance diesel days when we started cracking the 1000hp mark we were killing transmissions on a weekly basis…then along came some real tuning capabilities and we learned fast to limit the low end torque to keep things alive. I do NOT miss driveway input shaft swaps. lol One...

Ceramic helps a lot but I don’t think it’s as good as the heat wrap and there’s a million turbo blankets on the market. Should be able to keep the stuff you don’t want melted in one piece. lol

I like the concept for sure. Plumbing will be interesting…hopefully not too long so there’s not a lot of energy loss between the heads and charger. Ceramic coating or a wrap is in the works I assume?

Far as I know none of the aftermarket kits will fit the oem spare. The RB/Brembo kit requires a minimum of a 12mm spacer for the front on the stock 21’s

Check out Vossen. I think they have some budget friendly options in a 10.5 wide +30 offset now.

Most Mustang wheels don’t have the best offset…that’s why people have moved away from using them. There are many properly fitting options available now that weren’t in the early days.

This weekend I start slinging fiberglass. Gonna work the kick panels first but the piles of supplies, mounting rings and homemade laser alignment tools are ready to go.

Back around 2012ish when I built my blown Ram R/T shipping the PCM back and forth was the only way. It was a pain but it worked.

As for the boost comments…they make what they’re told to make at a given time to hit the torque number they’re looking for. It’s just a number and doesn’t mean as much on this car as some people like to think.
