Sound treating a car can get quite extensive if you let it. What you did is certainly better than doing nothing but there’s a lot more to be done that can get you some pretty dang good results if you ever decide to dive in deeper.

One of my front ones was doing that. A 6” strip of butyl rope stopped it from coming loose. If a local glass shop can’t hook you up you can get a roll of 3M WindoWeld at most parts stores for about 30 bucks but that’s WAY more than you need.

Considering he’s already installed some stuff and is about to install more if say a quality round of sound treatments is the best step. If he didn’t have anything installed yet I’d say it’s the first step.

Add the amp and sub then spend some time tuning it. Just adding speakers is usually a recipe for disappointment.

You’ll take a loss…but the guy I quoted was basically saying it’s a 100% loss and that’s a bullshit statement. Everything else you said…I already said in this thread.

You don’t need to add more speakers. You can do everything needed with the locations you have now. Using your budget for better speakers up front is a better play than adding speakers to the d-pillars.

That’s a 20” wheel for sure but it does look better than the current base ST wheel.

It’s supposed to be the new Android based system, not Sync 4. I just hope there’s a nice front end update. I’m due for a rock chip repaint…kinda holding out to see if the refresh front bumper looks better.

It’s a normal alignment…any shop worth going to can knock it out. Nothing extra is needed and it’ll align back to factory specs with any of the static drop springs on the market.

This is a crap statement. I’ve sold more highly modded vehicles than most and 100% of the time they went for substantially more than a similar stock vehicle. Dealers might not mess with you but private sale…mods can definitely add value.

Of course there are…but they’re using the work arounds and keeping their mouths shut about the address part because if you blast it out there and Adam knows he’s not gonna risk his business to sell you a tune. He spent way too much money and time getting his tunes EPA approved to burn it all...

I would just leave the fact that you’re in CA out of the conversation. Wink wink or whatever… And yes…using a friend or relative out of state is a common work around…is another 10 bucks in shipping really that big of a deal?

Pick one or the other…both is a bad idea.

First…there’s no “improved shifting”. The FP tune loads the newest calibration and runs a fresh relearn process…that’s all. You’d be better off and safer just running the JB4 or the FP tune. Stacking tunes has bad idea written all over it.

It’s nice to see people able to buy a car and mod the hell out of it right away now. It sucked in the beginning when there weren’t any parts out yet. lol
