Which driving mode do you spend your time in?

Jim, I’m assuming you’re wondering why I run Normal all the time - it’s for a couplefew reasons. 1. I am not big on the length of time it holds gears 2. I live in, and commute cross, the Greater Toronto Area in part via the busiest highway in North America, fondly known around here as “the...

    Driver’s window & voltages

I’ll have to check on that. I get the same readings off a battery tester and also the car’s onboard voltage reading. And I’ve always been able to start. I like your suggestion about the multimeter.

    Driver’s window & voltages

Thanks. That reset trick worked. As for the whole battery issue, it’s unusual that the battery should be below 12 V whenever the car isn’t running, or at least I would have thought so. I’ll be doing some experimentation to see what happens. To start with I’ve turned off all the connectivity...

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

Yeah for the most part I think it just does whatever the f*** it wants. Lol

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

I’m starting to wonder if they have encased the antenna loop and sensor inside the plastic shrouding or in the body somewhere. Not exposed anymore.

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

I think the concept is that because the key is not in proximity to the tailgate, it won’t respond to foot kicking motions. I’m not sure if it being inside the car would override that or prevent it.
