    Air filters

Hey Jim, Its an affliction most of us share. LOL. Couple of suggestions... If going the tune route and you haven't yet bought an exhaust, it may be worth investing in a 2.5" or 3" system. You will be spending about the same amount of money but get better flow. At OEM power, Borla is great but...

    Steeda rear sway/HR springs fitment

Just cut the other side? Thats what I did. I removed both of the end holes, then filed it smooth and painted it with Rustoleum gloss blue. Its a perfect color match and looks cleaner too.

    Michelin pilot sport AS4

Assuming you bought this particular model of AS4 tire, you are just fine. Its just the load index that matters. A 110 tire is appropriate for this vehicle.

    Anyone using RaceChip GTS

Nah. They are a piggyback system--meaning they alter the input signals into the existing ECU. There is no trace if one is pulled off.

Anyone have warranty trouble yet becuase of mods?

Agree, and didn't mean to imply that. Was just trying to make the point that the law DOES have teeth and if something breaks on your tuned vehicle, don't automatically assume you are screwed.

Anyone have warranty trouble yet becuase of mods?

Get to know a really good breach of warranty lawyer. The Magnuson-Moss Act is ALOT more powerful than people realize. The OEMs bank on being able to push you around. Buddy installed a pulley on his supercharged mustang and when he had some issue some months later Ford told him to go pound...

Do 18s fit the ST rotor/calipers

pre 20/21 explorer wheels actually DON'T fit the new explorers. the new bore size is bigger. If you are looking at 18s, Tire Rack has the updated specs and can give you a list of rims that will fit. If you want PI wheels, you will have to either pay like $400 per wheel or have a friend in...

    Vanity Plate Names

You're looking too deep. I have zero brand loyalty to anything--I own a subaru, a ram truck, this vehicle, a honda, etc. etc. Its just a joke to poke and rile up the SRT Challenger/Charger/Grand Cherokee enthusiasts around here and show some love to the Ford camp as long as I happen to own one...

Watch the video. What’s that sound? Only at idle. Only in sport mode.

it was somewhere in this thread i think https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/threads/who-is-dissatisfied-with-the-2020-ten-speed-trans.484120/

I can't find the thread (still looking) but you aren't the first person with this issue. When 10R60 transmissions go into "sport mode" it changes the oil pressure circuit--i imagine that part beginning to yolo itself is your issue. remedy has always been a new valve body.

FS SOLD SOLD SOLD Stock 21” wheels, Pirellis and TPMS for sale

With a 50,000 mile treadlife warranty, I would hope not. Granted you always take those warranties with a grain of salt and they are pro-rated but I forsee getting at least 30k out of a set of the stock Pirellis

    Steering Wheel Carbon Trim Cover

This thread is not helping my problem with impulsivity. I really like your package choice. I may just have to do this.

2021 Explorer King Ranch (First Look)

I don't understand why you would ever buy that over an Aviator... the Lincoln interior is soooo much nicer and it has the 400hp motor tune from the ST.

Is it me or does Ford treat the STs like a Irrelevant division... Almost like they underestimated the sales and interests..

There is also the COVID aspect. Its hard to judge the new Explorer launch progress compared to other launches because a) they absolutely shit the bed on the initial launch of the entire vehicle line and therefore needed to fix everything first before they could focus on upgrades/performance...

Offroad experiences - post em up!

The Park City off-road experience was pretty cool too. They made sure each of us got at least one wheel a couple feet off the ground so they could show off how little chassis flex there was. The trails certainly weren't anything that a Subaru couldn't handle with ease but they were still fun.

    It finally happened............

Can you post your build date so we can continue to keep track of these?
