SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

Update: I put a fresh battery in it and reset the BCM. Went a whopping 3 days without issues until I got these again. I will scan later with forscan, i’m expecting it to be the same error codes as before.

    2020 Explorer ST

I agree. I have started saving off all the DTCs from forscan just to have more clues and maybe help others out if it does end up just being the battery. But i’m going to go pick up a battery now that i’m seeing all the other gremlins that come up with an old battery. I don’t want to wait until...

    6 Faults and AWD Module

I’ve been looking all over, this is very likely my issue. I’m going to look into doing this in the next week

SOLVED: Electrical Issues - Lost Communications and Invalid Data Received

...codes from this event. after clearing the codes and restarting the car everything was fine but one IPMA dtc about brake module A came up in forscan after the restart. Hoping someone will tell me to replace the battery and all my problems will be solved. Please anyone with experience with...

That's how I ended up doing it. I couldn't get it to work through ForScan and enabling it there.

Adding “Walk Away Lock” feature for 2025+ Ford Explorers (with Audible Feedback)

The one feature I miss about my BMW, now to figure out this Forscan thing.

Adding “Walk Away Lock” feature for 2025+ Ford Explorers (with Audible Feedback)

Wife is interested, so your point #2 still remains, there is no easy on/off toggle?

    Did the Lincoln screen swap

...sure if I should start a new thread, but I went to setup my Aviator screen, the orientation refused to change. I changed the APIM settings to Lincoln and Lincoln MY20 10in, and its still messed up. Its my first time using Forscan, so I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong. Thanks in...

First real post and what a great place to learn

If you haven't looked into the forscan mods, that would be a good area to look into. Like you, my wife said absolutely not to an exhaust. So my performance upgrades will be an Intercooler, upgraded pipes, intake, then a tune. Then when it's time, colder spark plugs. Visually, I just did a...

Autostop Eliminator Causing faults on 2025

I’m sure you already know this but you can use forscan to just turn off the start stop completely with no need to keep anything plugged in. It also sounds harder to use than it is

    Copilot-360/Adaptive Cruise Control vs. BlueCruise

Can I ask - what qualifications or experience do you have with this vehcle? Have you driven 2025 Explorer ST in Cruise mode? I only ask because you answered an innocent question with a very harsh, black and white response.

    Did the Lincoln screen swap

The problem with displaying saved stations on the screen has been solved. If anyone is interested, please write to us. Forscan is required for the fix.

    Copilot-360/Adaptive Cruise Control vs. BlueCruise

Steering assist in Adaptive mode is an 'assist' feature, not a fully automated system. You will feel that if one of the lane lines on the road happen to disappear. The sensors will then have no point of reference and the vehicle will either disengage the feature or wander off course. Totally...

    Copilot-360/Adaptive Cruise Control vs. BlueCruise

Lane Keeping System is not a hands free driver assist. It’s not something you can change via Forscan either. It is not programmed nor good enough to deal with driving by itself. My thoughts? It’s not smart in the slightest.

    Copilot-360/Adaptive Cruise Control vs. BlueCruise

...it stays in the lane, keeps safe distance from car in front, and FEELS so much like BlueCruise - then the "Keep Hands On Wheel" alert pops up, becoming angrier every second I don't grab the wheel. Wonder if there is an adjustment I could make through FORScan to disable the alert? Thoughts...

    Parking sensors yelling at me...

It seems to be a couple sensors on the passenger side each time. I will try the battery disconnect over the weekend and hopefully it help. My front right tire pressure sensor is showing a fault as well, so maybe that can be magically fixed at the same time.
