Your dealer may have made a big mistake. The Safety notice issued 4/19 said no new Explorers were to be sold. I have seen any change to that so far.

I like the idea of red. My ST is Rapid Red and that would look better than blue IMHO.

From what I'm seeing here and elsewhere, I think all Explorers will get the recall. I just seen where a person with a 2020 Limited has received the recall notice in Ford Pass. Time will tell I guess.

I haven't on mine. Wonder if yours is defective. I would talk to service about it.

Sure does look like it goes in by the battery. Must be an add on item. Did you buy it used?

So does mine. I think that can be changed in the settings though. Would have to look to be sure.

Looks like they made an error with the number. That recall number is for an F350 driveshaft issue.

Well if you haven't purchased one you will need to wait a while. There is a safety recall issued and no new Explorers can be sold for now. Not sure at this point how long this will be.

The way it reads it includes the models with the 2.3L also. That really seems odd.

You are not factoring in the steel cross members that have been removed for the moon roof. And why would there be any difference between models? I'm not an engineer but you are not making any valid points.

I seen that in your earlier reply and I'm not arguing that. That's for you to decide. I just think it sucks if you need to trade early to solve this issue. Nice to hear you get another Explorer. Good luck in what ever you decide to do.
