    Enhancing all the badging?

Don't know if this guy is on our forum. He did some really interesting things with the lettering, proudly highlights our vehicle's branding.(y)

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

Greetings! Great to see the 20 inchers representing on your red and silver ST's.(y) I considered painting my wheels black, but over the years I've become a stickler for keeping things 100% OEM so machined they stay.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

I'd have to agree. I don't think anyone would view a "catastrophic" failure as anything but permanent. More like a "system failure" as opposed to a "catastrophic failure." Now if the dealer diagnoses it saying you need a new engine or something, then yes.

    ST vs. The Competition

Data supports the 1/3 bolt is a non issue for stock ST's. Tuned, it's a gamble, and not one I'm willing to take. Brace is a not an option as I don't want my warranty getting hassled. So a 100% bone stock high 13 sec SUV that cost me $53k new, it'll do just fine.

    Rear end damage

I think your dealer is a bit confused. There is nothing else for them to tell you, the e-brake flash is the only thing FORD offers.

    Rear end damage

No company is going to spend 3/4 billion dollars on something that's only effected .09% of their product unless it involves a life threatening issue. Exploding gas tanks, yes. Engines self igniting, yes. A bolt shearing, nope.

First wash with Chemical Bros Products

I found the Technicians Choice really lit up the black paint on my Stinger GT, but not seeing an incredible difference with it on my ST's Iconic Silver? I can't imagine how good the upgraded brakes are, because the standard brakes on my ST are so freaking good. And the 20" have to be more...

    Rear end damage

I don't see FORD offering anything but an e-brake re-flash. New subframes on all of the 252,936 cars involved would cost them 758 million dollars. Not happening ...

Then how'd you wash your roof? I find it's of indispensable value for that alone.

First wash with Chemical Bros Products

Your ST is my twin! Lol The longer I have it, the more I'm liking the silver 20" wheels with the Iconic Silver paint. Talking ceramic products, I had used Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail Spray on my black Stinger GT. It was great for great for quick detailing and keeping it glossy, but on my...

Nice! Are you going to add roof rails? They're worth their weight in gold when washing the vehicle. Just stand on the door sill and grab onto one of them and wash away.(y)

Finally!! After nine months!! My ST is here!

Just analyzing things. You mentioned Bronco so I relayed the info that my dealer marked them up $5k. Got my '22 ST from them at sticker, won't pay a nickel over that.

Finally!! After nine months!! My ST is here!

How can time be saved by opting out of something that FORD isn't installing anyways? I also was told by my dealer the only vehicle they were marking up $5,000 over sticker was the Bronco.

2022 ST arrived, do I really want it?

Thank you for your honest input as a former TrackHawk owner.:)

    Rear end damage

100% We get that, but overall a non issue when compared to seriously meaningful things.

2022 ST arrived, do I really want it?

Given the tendency of human beings to whine and complain, I'm thinking more will have reported it than didn't.

2022 ST arrived, do I really want it?

FORD has sold ~1/2 million 2020-2022 Explorers in the US. Say ~5% were ST's. That means there's ~25,000 ST's out there. And on the internet forums, you see maybe a few dozen people complaining about stuff. Not bad ...

    Rear end damage

Well, your dealer didn't really "lie" in that this is FORD's response to the vehicle not rolling away in the extremely rare event there's a bolt shear. As such, it addresses a safety issue and under no circumstance would it ever be reversed.

Introducing Thermal R&D 3-inch Exhaust system! (Sound Clips)

I get what you're saying, and while I'm not trying to be a nuisance ... for some people a little drone is too much drone. To each their own I guess ...
