    Cleaning The Engine Bay

Anybody been brave enough to clean the engine bay of their ST yet? I may try it with spray bottle of water cleaning small areas at a time to try and avoid wetting certain electrical parts.

The FORZDA3 2021 Rapid Red ST "NOT-a-Build" Project

Holy shit my ST may run 11's also since I have the ZFG E50 tune, Magnaflow exhaust and Whipple intercooler as well as a constant 40mph wind from the south. I bought the dragy but its still in the box. How am I suppose to stick the dragy on the outside of my front tire again, double-face tape...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Looks good on the silver ST's. What would that roughly cost to get two mirror caps from Ford and get them painted? Rapid Red paint is a paint upcharge I am sure.

    Magnaflow or Borla?

I believe the OEM downpipes are 2.5 in (correct me if I am wrong), OEM mid-pipes are 2.25 in and Thermal is 2.5 in. No sense leaving the smaller OEM mid-pipes (versus 2.5 in Thermal mid-pipes) in place to be the bottleneck of the entire system.

FENG - Fake Engine Noise Generator DELETE

    Magnaflow or Borla?

Borla S Type vs Magnaflow #19515 I prefer the deeper tone of the magnaflow plus its a full length 2.5 inch system versus a partial 2.25 inch system. The 1600 thru 2000 rpm drone I can deal with by raising the rpm's by manually downshifting to 8th gear on the highway. In 8th gear rpms are high...

Magnaflow Exhaust On 2021 Explorer ST

Other things I have gleaned, over time, regarding the Magnaflow #19515 exhaust system. Multiple vehicles I have seen with this exhaust system (equipped with SPD downpipes) have the tail pipes sticking out about an extra half inch versus this system with OEM downpipes. With OEM downpipes the...

    Cleaning Front Grill

I drive 14 miles to a small town carwash. It is the old fashion wand type car wash that is well maintained and has high pressure, lots of soap, decent temperature and a no-spot rinse. The drive on the way home dries the majority of the vehicle. I only have to spray down the rear door and bumper...
