If you have the Cargo Management package it comes with an opaque cargo net that can be installed horizontal behind the third row to do the same thing. The hooks are there. Actually more convenient since it can be folded away when not in use.

Interesting to see the European Explorer offers a full length cargo shade behind the second row seats.

It does not mean you can get the seats. The later versions of the 2022 guide were like this. It is just a way of separating the seats so they can say that option is not available, but you can get the lesser option. This way it does not show them as "deleted".

Notice the roof rack side rails are back to being standard equipment.

Is yours a fairly new one? Ford eliminated the foot wave feature from recent builds due to chip shortage. Also, the feature only came with the 401A package.

I like that when all sections of the bench are folded it provides a full width floor for cargo. The captain chairs leave a big gap in the middle. I leave the third row always folded with a cargo mat.
