UPR catch can and orange fitting solution.

There’s three so if you find one, the other two are about 60 degrees to each side of the one you found. A pick was a bit hard to navigate around so I took a piece of coat hanger wire and hammered on one end to flatten it then rounded off the edge to fit inside the connector and the flat end can...

    BAD SERVICE!! GRRRRRRRR!!

That’s exactly why I do ALL my own oil changes and many other service points on all of our cars. The oil change bay at the dealerships is occupied by an entry level mechanic. I used to be on a Z06 forum and would read about dealerships that had filled the oil from the valve cover cap which had...

Anyone get frustrated with people thinking you are a cop?

It is kinda funny to see people in front of you slow down to EXACTLY the speed limit.....except when you need to get someplace quick.

    Sync Navigation Update

It looks like the Sync update site is down for maintenance. It has been since yesterday.

    ST Accessories/Modifications

You could cut off both bosses once you have the holes made using those self tapping screws and screw in a very short 1/4 or 3/8 inch screw and screw it down flush. The vault pushes down into the console space very tight and like I said earlier, those screws aren’t supporting anything, they just...

    ST Accessories/Modifications

There are stand offs/bosses inside of the vault that are threaded and welded to the inside of the vault. That’s what you see in the picture and the head of the screw tightens down flush with the top of the boss. The hole goes all the way through the vault and when the screw is threaded through...

    ST Accessories/Modifications

Good idea. I’m not sure why they didn’t just eliminate the standoff, use shorter bolts and screw them in flush to the sides. Probably because the bolts need to be self drilling and are the shortest available.

Unless you want to take the system off and put it back to stock; as in bringing it to a non-mod friendly service dept.

How To: explorer ST Oil Change

I used Mobil 1 and a Wix filter. Easy job. Did my first one at 1,200 miles and will do it every 3,000 since I don’t drive this car much more than that per year.

    Northwest Club Cruise

I ride the 14 frequently on my Harley when I feel the need to escape. Great road and yes, the scenery is incredible. I did that just yesterday.

The bolts screw into the sides of the console to hold it in place. It fits in there tightly and it has to be forced in all the way before the bolts are put in. The bolts are raised by a boss and are screwed in all the way. I see what you mean about the bolts being knuckle busters but it hasn’t...

Vehicle specific locking safe and used my Ford Pass points. There are cutouts so the inside light still illuminates. It took less than five minutes to install.

    Forscan settings discussion

I have a MacBook, no Windows PC unless I bring one home from my office which if I need to, I will. But can I use my iPad or phone for programming or just monitoring? Also, which FORScan to download; Lite for $5.99?

Thanks for that. Nice job on the intercooler too.

UPR catch can and orange fitting solution.

We’re you able to get the complete fitting off of the valve cover and then break the orange piece out or did you break it out of the connector while it was still on the valve cover?

    Oil Catch Can Thread

Yep, me too. I’ve attempted getting that orange clip off twice with no luck. I’d like to know what prompted Ford to put that tamper proof connector on there in the first place. It’s just part of the PCV system so why not put it on all the connections then. Weird. I’ll get it off. I just don’t...
