jcfountain33 Carbonized Gray 2025 ST Build

I figured. The sway bar already helps some. I was big in the mini truck scene and you could put them on rails lol. Im just debstigg by spring brands now. Deciding on drop distance and rake. It’ll happen likely in March.

jcfountain33 Carbonized Gray 2025 ST Build

My F150 was a similar color, and I agree. I chose it partly because it’s durable. Some colors tend to swirl too easily. I wash and spray wax it twice a week, and it always looks wet.

jcfountain33 Carbonized Gray 2025 ST Build

Nice. Springs are next on my list. I'm considering the intercooler, but it's not urgent. The thing runs like a scalded dog with the tune anyway.

I hear it rarely, but have also heard it in my mustangs as a high load/low rpm/highgear situation. And have seen it in other cars before downshift, or lugging on a hill in too high a gear. What little it presents, I am not worried about negative results. It could be that some ping is acceptable...

How are you checking your engine oil?

Mine is a little higher than yours. But it was very similar after the 6qt change. And also factory fill.

How are you checking your engine oil?

I feel the best way is run and sit 15-20 then check. But cold is fine as long as you understand where it will be then. I’ve seen plenty of modern cars where a stone cold check is well over full. I’m always gonna lazily check on a Saturday morning cold. So as long as I’m well over full I ain’t...

How are you checking your engine oil?

Cold this morning, after emptying my catch can.

2026 ST Let the mods begin

You can see mine in my sig. If you want sound, Thermal 2.5". More juice, ZFG Performance tune. Run 93 octane. Remove the front plate holder if you can. Rear sway for a little more handling. Other than that, just read through the What have you done thread lately, and you will find stuff to keep...

How are you checking your engine oil?

Shop did "6", and I just added 1/2 qt to their result.

How are you checking your engine oil?

I'm running 1/2 qt additional and checking after it's been sitting all night. Mine is right around where your cold mark is.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

That makes sense. I’ve run her to 135 and she just keeps climbing.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I’ve been back and forth on the plugs. And while I understand Adam saying sport isn’t meant for daily. It sure is fun lol.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

It's fun lol. But it can be overkill. I am gonna try normal again for a while, and see how I adapt back.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I decided to run it in Normal mode on the way home from work today. Honestly, I think I like the shifting better, but it’s going to take some time to get used to after driving in Sport all the time—especially when it comes to pedal input. I’m sure Normal is easier on everything overall, since...

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I’ve owned one 6-speed, two 8-speeds, and this is my second 10-speed (F-150, two Edge STs, one Mustang, and now the Explorer). In my experience, the oddball shifts are pretty similar across them—at least with the 8- and 10-speeds. The 6-speed was different, but the 8-speeds can be quirky as...

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

It took mine a good two weeks to really settle in. Since I spend 100% of my time in Sport mode, there was definitely an adjustment period for my pedal input—how much I press it depending on RPM, turning, and what I want the car to do. I had to learn to be much lighter on the pedal, because even...
