    What power level does traction become an issue?

    I honestly would just wait until it’s starting to slip. Definitely know it has an high possibility of needing a rebuild. Unless you’re launching it ever, the tranny should start slipping before it would go totally out. Might not go out at all if you treat it right.

    The 3.0L is really stout in stock form, and as long as he’s not going really extreme or tracking it a lot, they’ll be perfectly fine. Trans would be a good idea to build though.

    Wheel hop is going to be the biggest problem you’re going to run into. Suspension mods will fix that. These cars AWD systems are really efficient in getting traction and putting power to the ground. I’d focus on suspension mods, and even a somewhat decent tire on stock wheels should suffice...

    Worth a shot. Could always just get a Borla or Vibrsnt etc. resonator if the stock resonator is too loud.
