I agree. Mask off all around and maybe rattle can it.

Virgin Ford and Explorer ST Owner

I was raised Chevy, Buick, Olds, Pontiac. Didn’t buy Fords until I started working for them. They make a pretty good product. Enjoy that new ST.

    Roof Rail is fading

After looking at your picture, I went out and did the old tapety-tap on ours. It's metal! Our '20 is a gloss black, yours looks like a matte finish. Something the dealers body shop can spray. (y)

    Roof Rail is fading

Seems unusual that it’s faded badly in that amount of time. Won’t hurt to show the dealer where you bought it. If it’s not warranted maybe you can buy a replacement.

    Fuel Type

I'm no tight wad, but that $10 x 2 vehicles is $80 per month. Thats pretty much a grand a year. :) To each their own.

    Fuel Type

The wife is the primary driver of our Explorer. She could care less about performance. With 93 octane premium @ 3.30 / gallon, I'm using 87 octane in both vehicles. They run fine.

    Dirty Dan Build

Looks good on what you've done. Like the blue in the engine bay.

    Ethanol fuel pumps

There's no winner in this argument. Sorry that we hi-jacked the OP's thread.

    Ethanol fuel pumps

The Democrat motto: “Vote early and often.” :D And by the way, I love paying more for everything, including my gasoline.

New member 2021 ST oxford white

Hope you didn’t’ have to pay the $700.00 markup for Star White. Might have yourself a unicorn being painted Oxford White. Good looking ST.

    Ethanol fuel pumps

"Jshaffer3819, post: 36336, member: 267" Amazing. I remember something big happened after that date but don’t quite remember. I recall being forced to get this shot, not sure what was in it, but my memory has never been the same. I’m sure it’s fine though because I really trust our government...

    Police interceptor wheel pics

Sharp, Clean, SHO. Think I would paint the caps black also.

    Just off the Truck.

I assuming that 21's are still being made due to the chip shortage. All done except the chip. Nice looking ST !

    Plans for a roush explorer?

I do like Roush products, having the CAI and exhaust in my F150. You pay a premium for the Roush name, (as well as Shelby American). Most of the mods they do can be done with aftermarket parts for a lot less. IMO

    Rear end damage

Hopefully just an anomaly and you have good luck with your vehicle.

    Scratched black wheel

A lot of dealerships have a mobile wheel service they use, maybe check with them.

    Catalytic converter

Other than watching where you park, and garage it at night, not a whole lot you can do. Battery powered tools makes it too easy.
