I guess my point was for those that are worried about heat from the engine sealing of the filter similar to how rotofab does it is not a bad idea. Now like you said cost is another component, that intake sells for $400 I am guessing that would easily double what people are having these built...

Interesting the Aviator gets the lift gate update and not the Explorer, there have been numerous reports on the lift gate of the Explorer doing what it wants when it wants including mine which got updated a few months ago.

It wouldn't surprise me if most manufactures had deals with audio companies to put their name on the door and "tune" the system for five minutes and call it good. The B&W system that Jag had in the first gen XJ and XFRs was amazing and hands down the best factory system I have ever listened to...

I put some sound deadening material on our enclosure as well just not as much. I am thinking about swapping out the stock sub for this one, I do not want a box taking up space in the back...

Sounds like garbage in the SS sedan as well, I replaced all the Bose garbage with some Infinities and ran them off the stock amp and put a sub in the trunk, sounds infinitely better.

We barely got 20 with a 10-15 mph head wind yesterday doing 70-75 without the head wind we were seeing mid 23s. On the highway assuming you are not in mountains or hills sport, eco and normal should be the same. Sport will shift into 10th once your speed is high enough I think it is 60?

Anyone had an issue with the auto up feature on a front window? Auto down kind of works on the drivers side it stops about three inches short of being open all the way but will not go auto up. When I hold the button to put the window up if it closes it automatically goes down again.....

They ordered mine no questions asked along with the tow hook and strut mount cover, took over two months to come in.

Just curious, do/did you ever hear the front end rattle? I am wondering if lowering the vehicle or changing out the sway bar end links would help eliminate/reduce the noise. Mine is in the shop right now and they will be changing one of the front struts which i am not expecting to do much after...
