That file is one of the first for the map update. I've seen some posts where people said it did keep downloading when off. For me it didn't. What I wound up doing was to turn the radio on and let it run until it timed out. It took a long time but it did finish.

Check the date modified of the files on your USB. There was a download released early Sept and those files were all about 2 years old. Are you able to check for updates OTA from your Explorer?

That may be the issue. Are you able to try it OTA? And what map version are you on now? The current one is NA 220

No error, just took days to complete. Are you downloading to a flash drive or downloading OTA? OTA is the most currant map version as far as I know.

Have you checked fuse #57 under the hood? That's the only thing I can think of checking.

I don't have any details on what it covers. When I talked to my dealer they didn't have any info yet so it's a waiting game right now. I've done an internet search on it and there is next to nothing there so far.
