So I bought my ST used with 9k miles. I've put about 800 on since owning. One thing I've noticed is I've never had the auto start stop feature work. I hate this feature so I don't mind. But is there a reason this feature has never worked? Could the previous owner before me have done...

I don't know if this was mentioned. But if you use the auto start in cold weather the heated seats come on automatically along with heated wheel.

Thanks for the responses. Yeah I've also heard it depends on the dealer and what not. It's kind of BS that ford makes their own tune and covers it. Any other company that has been doing tunes for forever they obviously will try and fight it.

I have a question for people who have the ST tuned. When you go back to a factory tune can the dealership tell that you had a tune or does it show the car has been cycled? Or whatever it's called? Is there really a way for ford to know you have a tune? Sorry for the stupid question.

Very cool. Yeah I've been looking at them. I just don't want to void the warranty. I paid extra for it and I don't know a shop that might look past it. I've heard of you get this one installed at a ford dealer it doesn't void warranty. But I think I will purchase this FP tune for sure...

Does anyone here have any pics of their explorers with 22in rims on here without lowering springs. I'm just trying to see how big of a gap is in play with the 22in rims with stock springs? Or you can tell me how much of a gap there is. I plan on using 305/40/22 tires. Thank you!

When they repaired the issue did it stop the leaks from happening again?

Well that's good to know. I don't have lowering springs right now. I will put them on eventually. But I can't see them rubbing then with the original cars setup. Thanks for you help. Look forward to reading about your follow up! Those pilots are very expensive, I agree.

Hey Cajun heat, so you don't have any rubbing at all with the 305/40/22? Do you have a stock suspension or have you lowered it at all? I was looking between the pilot super sports as well, but I'm getting my rims ordered and was recommend a 305/40/22. I know a lot of people run the 305/35/22.

So a little update on the issue of water getting into the rear tire well. The tech said it was leaking from the BLIS system which the above documents show an excellent diagram of. It's located I guess under the bumper of the rear. If this has happened to anyone else in the same spot as mine...
