    FS P-Gear P610 GPS

Have a p-gear P610. I have an Aim Solo 2 now for my track car and it does all the same functionality and a lot more than the P-gear so I have no use for it. Does all the same functions as the Dragy. I think the Dragy is a 10hz GPS, the P610 is 20hz so "in theory" its a bit more accurate. In...

    SLD HP Tuners MPVI2

Have an MPVI2 that I no longer really have a use for since I am selling the ST. I might have the box still, but doubt it. MPVI2 plus cable as pictured. I might have the thumb drive it came with, but not guaranteeing anything plus thats all old versions software at this point anyway. $250...

    New hpfp and injector option!

Just to clarify, I was not talking about transversely mounted platforms. I was not confusing older platforms(which I have zero experience or knowledge of) with the current platform. I was referring to the PTU as a "power transfer unit"... You reference PTU as "power takeoff unit"... I would...

    New hpfp and injector option!

I was under the impression it had a computer controlled clutch type PTU in it. So whats the limit on the stock transfer case?

    New hpfp and injector option!

So who is building upgraded trans and PTU's to deal with all this HP?

    Labor prices?

I would expect at least 4 hours for the springs(1 hour per corner). Likely 1-2 hours for the exhaust. No clue on the whipple, but guessing at least 4 hours if the shop has done it before. I think I have read of guys on here doing them in their garages in 5-6 hours taking their time. If you...

    Rear end damage

I tow ~5k lb boat/trailer and have a 93 octane ZFG race tune(I dont tow on that tune except 1/4 mile to the lake, flash to stock for longer trips). I dont baby my exploder on the 93 tune. My 21 has a single rear bolt. No issues. And if it breaks ill get it towed to the Ford dealer.

    Axle oil change

Old wives tail...or at least not applicable to modern vehicles. Break in oil in factory fills of anything hasnt been a thing for at least 30 years(probably longer) that I am aware of. Machining tolerances and materials are so good now that traditional break in is "almost" not a thing anymore.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

You'll know if you have a rough shift. Mine felt fine in "normal" mode, but in "sport" the 2-3 shift was harsh. It also wasnt carrying to redline, like 750rpm early. Adam took care of both. I would say my 2-3 is still a little rough in sport mode, but I dont drive in sport mode very often so...

    Coilovers anyone ?

You didnt read my post correctly and I am sure you didnt go search for his post. Its a pretty long post talking about the pro's and con's of both springs. He's probably one of the only people on this board with extensive experience on both. He has hit the bump stops under normal conditions...

    Coilovers anyone ?

I think it was @pelotonracer2 that said he had bottomed out into the bump stops a few times on the H&R's in his post comparing the H&R's to the Steeda's... It might have been somebody else though. Im just not sure I want to lower 1.5-1.75" on the H&R's then load up the boat and be sitting on...

    Coilovers anyone ?

Ive got a set of H&R springs sitting in my garage that I dont think I am going to install. I dont think im sold on the Steeda's either. Until a strut is released that can deal with the 1.25-1.75" of lowering and not lose travel/hit the bump stops, I think I am going to leave my factory...

    Coilovers anyone ?

I would be down for some FOX coilovers... something in the 2.5" diameter(the Raptor Fox coilovers are 3"), remote reservoir with adjustable rebound and damping setup with travel designed for a drop of about 1.5". Would likely be in the 2000-2500 range, maybe 3000.

ZFG 93 tune and vehicle inspection

Not sure how Colorado works, but you most likely just need to make sure readiness monitors are set. Takes a few drive cycles to reset after flashing, battery disconnect, etc... you can usually read them with a code scanner. I have an OBD-MX bluetooth scanner and use their free phone...

ZFG 93 tune and vehicle inspection

In Texas... Not a chance you will have issues. As long as all your readiness monitors are set you will pass... I think you can actually have 1 or 2 that arent set and still pass.

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

I have no clue what is going to come out for this ST as far as coilovers go but I am not holding my breath that they will be worth a shit. Just my experience with people making low volume coilovers(lets be honest, coilovers for the Explorer will be low volume). My guess is somebody is adapting...
