Couldn't find the 'what have you done...' thread, so here's my '23 up on QuickJacks for the first time...

Just this past week I have been looking at buying a set of these. Which model did you go with? FYI the wheels look sick.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Thank you for helping with the search. I just read all of this info, very compelling. I will be sticking with adding the additional 1/2 quart based on this data.

    2025 Oil Capacity

I believe in data driven decisions. 1/2 quart of 6 quarts is less than 10% increase. The graphs that @UNBROKEN shared do show oil starvation during launch. Does anyone happen to know the height of 6 quarts in the pan? I cannot imagine the additional 1/2 quart raising the level high enough to...

    2025 Oil Capacity

I didn't know Ford made the change for the 25's. Is it still recommended to add the additional 1/4 - 1/2 quart? I have been doing this the last 2 oil changes.

    Blow off valves?

So you just corrected me publicly for not believing what I READ in his profile and then in the next sentence asked the same question I asked for the same reason... to confirm his model year? LOL I asked the question because I was not aware FenFab had a custom cold side pipe for the updated...

    Roof rail delete fitment

Thank you! From Fordparts.com the total is $552.85 + tax From Fordpartsgiant.com the total is $428.07 + tax Does this sound like in the ballpark of what you paid?

    Roof rail delete fitment

Looks much better. I am starting to like the look of the rail delete. I have no intentions of using the rails to begin with. I have not searched yet for the PN's. Do you have them handy?

Any exhaust that is between stock and thermal 2.5 sound levels?

If I have time, I should find out this weekend LOL

Any exhaust that is between stock and thermal 2.5 sound levels?

I think the Gibson axle back falls into this category. I was originally looking for the same thing and ended up with a Gibson. You know it is there on cold startup then it mellows out after warm. There is no drone in the cabin at any speed, I have done several 2 hour+ road trips with the family...

Are those wheels called The Bully?

    FENFAB V2 ordering ?

I think it was a 6 to 8 week wait for me. It was frustrating but admittedly worth the wait in the end.

    Wider tires?

I know it has been a while but I finally installed the wheel spacers and took some measurements. The indent in the back side of the 2025 ST wheels is 9.5mm. I installed 1.25" spacers and there was approximately 5mm of wheel lug that was proud of the spacer's face. Quick math tells me that the...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

These look nice. Are these 22x9 with a +38mm offset? What size tire did you end up putting on?

    Blow off valves?

I have had many open air CAI's on multiple vehicles without any issues up here in the snow belt. One of them had the filter so low in the engine bay it was about 10" off the ground and no issues. The only thing that worried me about that intake was flooding and running through deepish water...

    Blow off valves?

I went with a FenFab V2 intake on my 25. One added benefit was the recirc sound I picked up because of the open filters. Sounds like a blow off valve to me.

    Car Covers

The cover will most likely work but, depending on how often you drive the truck and need it, the hassle of removing it and reinstalling it frequently may be a bigger issue. Add to that, when the sap drips from the tree the cover will catch it and then make a mess when removing it and folding it...

2025 Active Shutter Error Code - Fix?

I think the issue is because the shutters were removed. I installed the CV Fab FMIC and charge pipes on my 2025 and did not have any issues with CEL's disconnecting and reconnecting the connectors.
