I've used Invisible Glass and crumpled newspaper for a very long time.

Two-step folding plastic step ladder. Just right for me (6'3") to reach just past the center line of the roof.

My Mazda Speed3 came with a cartridge filter. Mazda makes a bolt-on platform for a spin-on conversion. Oddly, European Speed3s have the spin-on - only US market get the cartridge. Anyway, I swapped the Speed to spin-on. Much easier IMO.

You do have to wonder how it's cheaper to fix than to do it right the first time. My Limited spent over a week in the shop for the ACM and a transmission over haul (at 14K). "If you don't have time to do it right, where do you find the time to do it over?"

My Ram had Magnaflows. The Mustang does, as well. I've not heard any drone from either. I was thinking of Borla or Corsa, but I don't like the sound from either. May not be worth the cost anyway.

Mechanical car washes worry me. In prep for a 2,500 mile road trip, I washed, waxed, Invisible Glass'd, Rain-X'd, and Torque detail ceramic-coated mine today.Vacuum and leather treatment tomorrow. Then it sits until Tuesday morning. The Mustang will be my errand-trotter this weekend.

I've had my 2020 ST for a month now. It replaced a 2020 Limited which seemed like it wanted to be a "hangar queen". Way too many problems in the short time I had it. This ST is much more confidence-inspiring with no audio issues and no transmission antics.
