Sport mode 100% of the time. Went on a 100 mile round trip drive this past weekend, bumped it up to almost 15 MPG.

On topic - I get 13 - 14 MPG.

On a similar note, I saw a Dodge Hornet the other day that had front big brakes on it. Sure enough, front Brembos are an option on the Hornet RT. Sure, they're only 4 piston, but the Hornet is compact CUV. Anyway, just another area where I think Ford dropped the ball.

Are you sure that loud noise wasn't a "tink" noise? These vehicles make all kinds of noise due to the axle shaft splines seizing in the wheel hub. Mine went from occasionally doing it when shifting from D to R and only noticeable in a confined space (parking garage) to going tink tink tink...

The air intake temp sensor is on the air intake. If you've ever changed your own air filter, it's right there, you gotta unplug it. Heat introduced by the turbos is due to compressing the air, not necessarily from the temperature of the turbos themselves. The intercooler negates that...

So wait, the FOB wasn't working because you weren't hitting the lock button before double hitting the start button? The FOB doesn't know if the vehicle is already locked or not, it just knows it doesn't send out a start signal until the proper sequence is followed.

I can't imagine a way to play CD on that system. You're probably going to need to rip the songs off the CDs and put them on a USB.
