    20 ST-drivers seat clicking/rattle noise

That you're describing is a separate problem and I have it too. The driver seat clicking comes literally from under your butt.

ST: 6 Faults at same time - OUCH!

Was yours intermittent or failed completely and replaced? Someone above posted once and said it went away and never posted again. Had this occurred on a weekday when the service department was open, I would've driven straight to dealer to show them the codes. I did that when I had check engine...

ST: 6 Faults at same time - OUCH!

This happened to me today after going through a car wash and driving home. I restarted once and had the faults again then after a second restart it never happened again. I drove about 30 miles and restarted about 3 or 4 more times after stops. Crossing my fingers on this! I have about 15,450...

What don't you like about your ST?

Mine has them. Is yours a 2021? Mine is 11/19 build 2020 model and has light in all 3 compartments: glove box, 2 center console compartments. Also, my cell phone doesn't allow flashlight use if under 5% power.

    Highest mileage ST

I have 15,135 miles with a few issues like check engine light at 2,000 miles fixed with PCM update and reprogram. Fuel pump failed at 10,800 miles and left me stranded down the block from me. I had to be towed. The fuel pump was ordered and replaced in about 4 days. Most recently, exhaust rattle...

    Automatic headlights

It's called a welcome, embrace or greeting. Most cars these days do some sort of animated logo on all the screens when you open the door or turn on the engine. My 2013 Lincoln did the same. This has been around for a while. These new fangled fancy cars these days... LMAO Yes it does waste...

What don't you like about your ST?

Go to owner.ford.com and check under Support-SYNC Software Updates to see which version is the latest for your VIN number. According to mine it should be Version 3.4 build 20282.

Spy Photos - Remember When ??

There was eagerness on both sides apparently and they totally rushed it to market before working out a lot of flaws and problems. That said this is the first time I ever saw one in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2019. I was totally impressed and wanted one so bad! In December of that...

    Rear Door Mesh Shades

I've yet to use the "peasant blockers" (as a certain YouTube channel refers to these shades!) after 15 months of ownership.

What don't you like about your ST?

I guess it all depends on what you're used to. My 2013 MKZ LEDs were a huge improvement over my 2010 MKZ HIDs and this 2020 ST equals or matches the 2013's performance just minus the adaptive feature.

    Engine vibrating noise at idle

Same here and more exhaust fumes along with the rattling. I had it checked and they ordered a new flex pipe after they saw it rattling on the lift. I have to get it installed soon. I did notice that when the temperatures recently rose about 45 degrees and up to 75 recently, the rattling was less...

Which driving mode do you spend your time in?

I fell in love with mine first and foremost on looks standing still it knocked me out even in the dark! Then I test drove the ST 3 times and had to get it! The Black CPO 2019 Nautilus was my second choice but paled in comparison on all counts except the cool Lincoln embrace on approach.

Like the jodie foster movie "contact"

My dealer ordered the driver side flex pipe which was rattling and will be replaced soon.

Who's received a thumbs up from other drivers?

I live 15 minutes outside of D.C. and someone in my neighborhood I don't know saw me walking in a snow & ice storm for exercise and also didn't want to risk driving. He asked me, "hey ain't you the guy who drives a 4-wheel-drive Mustang?" I said Nope and kept walking. LOL

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

So now a new malfunction: On several occasions when I touch the exterior rear driver side door handle to open or lock the doors the tailgate opens. This just happened when I parked and opened the rear door. It happened a few weeks ago when the car was covered with snow and ice so I thought that...

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

Mine used to do this a lot but it is very intermittent. It may be my imagination but when it's super clean it is more sensitive. When it gets dirty and needs a wash, the sensor gets triggered less when I walk by. Could be a total coincidence. Also, my headlight switch would turn on by itself...

    3 Months in

I have had mine for over 15 months and 15,000 miles and still love the beast! And yes it is a flawed gem but there was nothing else in the Ford stable that really got my interest in 2019. I almost got a 2019 Nautilus and if I had I'd be pissed right now having the old interior from 2015 and...

Defects and a Missing Part on Our ST

Mine purchased in Dec. 2019 had a ding inside the passenger front door jam but didn't notice it until after a week or so. There was a barely noticeable swirl in the paint on the rear driver side door sill.

I'm also lazy and indecisive! So I reluctantly pay for things I could do myself.

    Air filters

I'm the ultimate tight wad! I don't do any mods on any of my vehicles. I never have. I just like to get the higher or highest trim with all available options and I am content with how it looks and performs in stock form. Cupholder Hero is the full extent of my mods on my ST. I'm still not...
