I think I may have both CV boots leaking grease on mine at 35,000 miles and just less than a month past the 36 month warranty. I did purchase a Premium extended warranty for 7 years/84K miles. Hopefully these will be covered under warranty. Does anyone know if this had a recall or TSB on it...

I carry my keys because I don't have a keypad on the front door of my house!

The keypad thing applies to all Ford and Lincoln vehicles built over the past few decades!

This is a safety feature so that you don't accidentally open the hood while the car is moving. It has a 2 pull hood release rather than a one pull and second release lever under the hood.

Sometimes my OCD makes me do things the difficult way so that's why I opted to use WiFi. It also depends on your signal strength. My driveway is about 50 feet away from my house so the speed isn't great. Most of the time I use USB and literally by the time you arrive at your destination...

It does stay connected for as long as possible but in my experience less than an hour at a time with the engine off. It took weeks for me to download the latest version of Sync. Next update I'm not using WiFi.

This happened to me last year on a hot day. Electrical system went totally dead. A cop jump started it and I drove straight to the dealer. They replaced the battery under warranty. I didn't need a tow truck luckily. Those are usually a bad experience especially since COVID. The wait is longer...

For my 2020 with 34K miles, I just purchased the FordProtect Premium for 7 years/85K miles $100 deductible with first day rental but without the lighting coverage. I paid $1525 on Cyber Monday from Anderson & Koch Ford in MN. This was the best price I could find online. I wonder if it's too late...

I agree! This has been discussed ad nauseam here since 2019 and Ford has done nothing to change it so far. It's really sad but you get used to it! I did a little mock up myself:
