I’m running the 5* tune as well.. first reaction I was pretty impressed but I guess I’m used to power already. Probably gonna switch to a different tuner for longevity purposes. Runs fine though.

I’d call them and mention it and they’ll send you out a replacement.. the flaking would bug me possibly even more

Put it in reverse. Gain speed. Put it in neutral. Lightly press the brake so you can put it in drive while coasting backwards and everything should snap back into place. At least that’s what I did.

you will be waiting a long time for a Ford performance tune. Just go with palm beach dyno or zfg if he’s back. I just tuned mine and wouldn’t go back. The stock tune in comparison is weak. Just don’t beat it on it like a mad man and it should hold up just fine. Imo

Another thing I noticed is when the brake assist is working the brake pedal is very stiff almost feels like its not going to brake at all & then WAM slams on the brakes for no reason lol. It’s ok. Still love my ST :)

what is the sound like with this intake? I mean the stock intake is pretty efficient as is.. but if it doesn’t make noises I’m not very interested for the price

The auto braking is beyond annoying. Backing out my driveway it has slammed the brakes so many times. I always think I hit my retaining wall. Can’t lie I start MF’ing every time.

Man I just went on a trip to Virginia from PA & back... Noticed when I got home the steering wheel leather at the top was starting to peel.. first real issue with my ST... WTF is up with that... 7k miles.. don’t get me wrong it’s not bad at all but it’s not a nice smooth steering wheel anymore...

I just realized he was talking about the mid pipe delete and not the muffler delete. But there’s little to no drone at all. It’s only loud on cold starts and WOT.

I probably wouldn’t.. 21’s can have issues too. Just enjoy the ride :cool:

It’s possible. You just re flashed your ecu. Weird things can happen as it’s relearning. If it happens more often then I’d be looking at the tune.
