Welcome?
I cannot say I have had a similar experience. With only ~800 miles; this truck sat for a while. Mine had 1426 miles when NEW. It was a demo vehicle for the dealer. That was low mileage for an AUG 2024 build when I bought in FEB 2025.
There may be others with insight to your...
Welcome! This forum is a wealth of information for many modifications - performance, handling, and aesthetic. There is a lot of advice here.
I, too, am a new owner since FEB 2025. There is a rabbit-hole of mods limited only by time and $$$.
Have you considered performance in a can? Sand, Prime, and Paint the shade of red you desire. I did not want a bright blue anti-sway bar - Steeda supplied bright blue. I painted it grey since that was an innocuous color and I happened to have it on hand. Looks nice IMHO since I don't notice...
Today, I installed the ID-Speed (Custom Performance Engineering) Rear Differential Brace. I had a few hiccups in the install:
1) The furthest bolt on the passenger side would not fit when the mount was in place. I put in a shorter socket-head cap screw.
2) The aluminum mount for the bushing...
I did the same and noticed a difference right away. While it took me an embarrassingly long time to install, I was pleased with the result. I did sand, primer, and paint the bar grey -- I did not want the blue peeking out of the fender well.
You may want to check around your battery for extra boxes. I bought a Mustang GT used and found a lo-jack cellular module attached. I never had an issue but I removed it from the car and disposed of it. Just an idea.
I usually set the brake prior to putting the vehicle in Park. I have had this happen 3 or 4 times. I notice when I am faster in the process it was more likely to occur.
I unselected the brake. Cycled engine on, reset brake, put in park, and shutdown. All was well.
Not the same situation as...
Ford went cheap on the rear doors without including a control module for the windows. They are power windows like the 1980s.
This is disappointing since the 2016 Fusion we had allowed for this level of control; we could also open and close front and rear windows with the key fob. Alas, they...
First, Ford with their two-piece lug nuts must be saving money. I had these on a 2011 Expedition and had to replace them due to swelling. This happened at a shop when they heated up due to use of air-tools (impact wrench).
when I purchased a 2017 Mustang, the lug nuts were the first to go...
I went from a 2011 Ford Expedition (13 local 17 highway) to the 2025 Explorer. So far, I have only run 93 octane. It is still cheaper on gas than the Expedition, so no complaints. Also, in Georgia I am paying ~$3.60/gal to $3.80/gal for 93.

See the above link for ideas. I have done some of them - the Steeda Rear Anti-Sway Bar is notable; makes cornering more fun.
I have the same code in my "As Built" file for the APIM. I can follow your change in the first block of four (0055 to 0015). The last block of four, (20BA to 207A), is not noted in my google sheet. These last two digits are listed as "**--" then it goes to the next aPIM group (10). Do you...

I found this to be very helpful.
Thank for the responses. I will look at the ID-Speed brace sooner. I will install prior to towing, probably this summer.
I don’t launch the vehicle most of the time. I do like the capable acceleration.
