The bolts holding the brace to the subframe are known to snap. It works well as long as it doesn't break, but I've seen quite a few snap.

Oh trust me the Steeda brace has had its large share of problems and complaints.

Yes it has become a hot topic. Apparently a lot of them have failed on people, I was never a fan of them in the first place because they didn’t do anything and they cause a lot of NVH.

He’s corrected. The concern about putting a larger tire on a smaller rim is that it’ll balloon out and cause irregular wear and bad handling. The 295s don’t do that on the STs wheel though, you’ll be fine. A lot of people have done it.
