Which one has better filtration for catch can? This will be my first catch can install and don’t want any contaminates making it back through. I saw UPR have a complex filter but not much info.. what is filter difference between UPR, j&l, mishimoto?

    Gas splash back when refueling?

I would for sure resell my car if the gas refueling line broke off and cause a issue of fire. But that recall admits something is wrong with refueling in the explorer. i have to admit though the ST explorer won’t be around much longer for sale. This suv probably be one the first fully electric...

    New here

Just get a notebook and start writing down all the fun thoughts you’ll have fun with your new vehicle. Then the reality of owning this particular model is a nightmare due to bunch of lazy production problems. Wrong subframe Fueling issues 12” screen pixelated Gauge screen flickers Battery...

    Gas splash back when refueling?

that’s kind of funny because having a late build date still has issues as a 2022 model. It has to be same parts being manufactured for the same vehicle concept. Imagine pulling up and trying to refuel, fighting with handle hoping it fuel up, then hearing back pressure build up and stop, stop...

So wait their only recalling a small product date? Mine was produced in October 21 which is a late build… SMH so they know about this issue but only choose Dec 21.. 2021 build go ron haha -wrong subframe (one bolt family) -screen pixelated 12” -flickering gauge screen -refueling issues what...

    Gas splash back when refueling?

its really a frustrating concept for simple refueling procedures. I might just use the emergency funnel for refueling on a daily basis, but thinking of this though should be that difficult in the first place. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the vehicle but it needs fuel to run like a raptor.

    Gas splash back when refueling?

So this morning took me 5 mins to fill up $20 worth of gas. Literally every 2-3 seconds of fueling would cause back pressure and shut off the pump. It been going on since day one but after owning two other fords (used) with easy fuel each had a personality of their own. Since this is a 4 month...

im not saying your stupid or anything just helping a fellow guy understand what happens in a exhaust in a simple turbo engine. Yet we have a advanced engineering in this engine which delete a BOV in 2021 models and doesn’t seem we have DV either. Im still new to this engine haven’t own it more...

drive a sea level tuned car at higher elevations you’ll see a big difference at timings and a/f ratio. Thus flow rate of exhaust gases will change. If we where talking about liquid it would be the opposite, so you need to go smaller for it to move from place to place. A mile high is where I live...

air comes in cold (dense air) into turn pushed in the engine and combustion happens (boom) then leaves out the back of turbo which exhaust hot air (heated thin air) pushed into tight cat and cooled slightly then need a small diameter pipe to recharge air to get hot again cause hot air moves...

It’s just common sense we have a long way to exit exhaust pressure compared to a Subaru sti exhaust length. The less restrictions the better of exit flow. I’m talking about engine displacement of hp not whp. A 2.5 turbo duel exhaust can support up 500 engine hp (most v8 N/A use 2.5-2.75”) any...

the 2.5 duel exhaust would support up 450 hp (engine displacement) but to achieve easy turbo spooling and help with back pressure for higher hp numbers, for sure hit 3” exhaust from turbo back. I would imagine he would like to save his turbo for awhile before maxing out and needing a bigger...

The tune should put you around 415-440hp (engine displacement hp) which should be enough area of air flow to support that build. Any further horsepower probability should put you at 2.75”-3” dual exhaust exit.
