Opinions on this used 2020 ST

Agree. Take your time. Do a Solid test drive. 20 to 30 minutes. Keep radio off. Do a good walk around. I went through a couple with paint flaws. Just don’t have any regrets. I love my 2021 now.

    Opinions on ‘used’ 2020 ST

Since my 2020 was just repurchased from dealer sounds like there are too many red flags for your deal. Dealer traded my 2020 up to the 2021 to make it right. If your going to spend, spend a bit more for the 2021. You will not be disappointed.

Finally have the 2021 Explorer ST

Does your 2021 front camera located in the grille have the little sprayer under it. Just noticed mine does not. The 2020s did have a little sprayer. Now there is just an empty spot right under the camera. Under the front grille badge.

    Seatbelt wiring question. Need info.

The dealer has replaced the driver seat twice incorrectly now. I am trying to find out information regarding the seatbelt latch wiring. At the base of the passenger side seatbelt latch it looks like two wires attach. One is thick and plugs in. The other is thin and goes up into the rubber...

    Roof rack cross bars?

I installed the Ford crossbars and have had no issues. I do have current problem with wind noise at rear window. Ford tech said it was the crossbars. We removed them and tested and crossbars are not causing any wind noise issues.

    '20 ST Heated Seats

I agree. Should get those inspected. On the low setting it almost gets too warm.

    What’s that smell?

During the first 500 miles when I punched it for a few seconds it almost smelled like the engine was on fire. We pulled over a couple times and popped the hood. After 2000 miles the smell is no longer. My guess something burning off but now is gone.

Found the fix for the rear window air noise

The dealer did not specify about the wind screen. I did started with tape at the front of the window and that did not fix anything. I can actually press the middle trim from the interior while driving and I can make the air sound stop. So after putting tape on the middle trim complete silence...

Found the fix for the rear window air noise

Great information. The only other thing I noticed was the window seems to bow a bit when fully closed. Almost as if the regulator is not adjusted correctly. Pushed a MM too high which bows the glass causing a gap in the trim.

Found the fix for the rear window air noise

The dealer said it was my Ford Roof racks causing air turbulence noise and I needed an after market air screen. I marked the rack placement on the rails with the green tape before I removed them to test their theory. They were wrong.
