2025 ST test mules for forascn changes

Recently, it has become even less consistent for me. I'm going to revert the changes. Having to constantly look over my shoulder to see if it actually locked totally defeats the purpose!

2025 ST test mules for forascn changes

Is anybody noticing that the walk-away lock function isn't 100% reliable? If it is just me and I park and immediately leave, it works almost all the time. But, if my kid is in the back it doesn't seem to work. Also, the touch-handle to lock function seems way less functional now. I'll touch it...

2025 ST test mules for forascn changes

Does anyone know if these actually have ANC to begin with? My as-built for: ACM > 727-01-02 0000 9204 00C7................. 2 = CC Disabled • ANC Disabled • ESEPS Enabled • MSS Disabled Shows that ANC is disabled.

2025 ST test mules for forascn changes

You could use a sound level recording app to prove it, like I did. Otherwise, it might just be confirmation bias.

It's right in my post. The cabin sounds didn't change significantly. I measured with a microphone.

CV Fabrication Intercooler + Charge Pipe Kit: Install and Test Video

Hey guys, I just uploaded an install and test video for CV Fab's new intercooler and charge pipe kit for the 2020 - 2025 Explorer ST. The before / after test data blew me away, so watch to the end. Here's a link to the kit...

Forscan: Update Brightness Threshold for Auto-Headlamps

Hi guys, Has anyone come across a configurable setting in forscan, for the environment brightness that switches auto headlights / headlamps on or off? For me, they stay on when it is very bright and I'd like to dial it back. This is the closest key I have found so far:

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

If you keep it in sport mode, that would explain it.

Easiest Place to Tap Constant 12v, Key-on, and Illumination

I grabbed constant 12v from fuse 70, which feeds the OBD2 connector. I got key on power from fuse 54, which powers the heated steering wheel. Made my own ground. Still haven't found an illumination wire yet. I will reroute and clean up the wiring when I do.

Easiest Place to Tap Constant 12v, Key-on, and Illumination

Wires are run and I'm waiting for some micro fuse taps. It looks like they changed the fuse box for 2025 and there are no mini fuses any more. Trying to decide where to tap my boost reference. I'm debating whether to plumb it into the PCV lines on the outlet side of my catch can. They are 5/8"...

I think you are right. It looks more like a curtain airbag itself.

Easiest Place to Tap Constant 12v, Key-on, and Illumination

I think that is essentially just an inflator tube in the A-pillar. The trim piece does dislocate near the top, but seems to stay attached near the dash. I feel pretty good about mounting next to it on the dash. Thank you for the insight.

Easiest Place to Tap Constant 12v, Key-on, and Illumination

It looks like they really deploy from overhead, with nothing really near the dash:

Thanks for that bit of info. I definitely don't want this thing getting fired at me by an air bag!
