2020 ST digital dash not on / won't start

    Sounds major. Best of luck...

    Dashboard errors on long trip

Don't know if you have for scan but I would definitely scan for codes. It will undoubtedly show something. I think it's worthwhile to invest in Forscan Lite with the OBDLink MX+ bluetooth dongle. I take it on trips for diagnostics but you can also run service procedures on the fly. My front...

    Chrome on window switches

After I cut my finger, decided to replace it. It's only a $28 dollar part (+ s/h), so did it myself out of pocket to save me time. Literally takes 5 minutes: pop the switch panel up, remove 3 screws, replace switch, reverse.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Because it was sudden, did you verify the serpentine belt didnt snap or the belt tensioner failed.

Can you disable FENG with a tune (ZFG, PBD, etc)

It is a built-in feature of Mac OS. However, not for the current crop of Macs that use APPLE's own CPU. Just google Bootcamp and how to download a copy of Windows from Microsoft. Everything is perfectly legal.

    Tuned in Sport Mode Only?

I don't think so. You can modify some things with the different modes but the underlying tune applies for all.

    Oil Change Woes

I'd check the dipstick for clean oil! Really, use your reward points in the dealer parts department on oil filters, cabin filters, etc. I think you are better off doing oil changes yourself. Many of us use the vacuum extraction method where everything is done from above and is easy peasy...

    Transmission issues update

Do you know if they are replacing your subframe to the two bolt? If not, you are SOL because apparently it's a one time repair and if it happens again, it'll be on you.

Can you disable FENG with a tune (ZFG, PBD, etc)

Is your MacBook intel based? If so, just use bootcamp and install windows. it doesn't even need to be registered.

Can you disable FENG with a tune (ZFG, PBD, etc)

I think what he is saying is he doesn't want a Forscan setup just to eliminate FENG if he can do it through a tune.

    Tire Shine

Meguiars works well and lasts long too. https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G190315-Ultimate-Insane-Coating/dp/B06W5FXCMS/ref=sr_1_16?crid=99FSC0ZRFK57&keywords=tire+shine&qid=1656770273&sprefix=tire+shine%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-16

    Wastegate Rattle??

One of my OE flex sections failed after less than 3 years. If it's rattling, you can be sure it's going to fail from all that vibration/movement--just a cheap and crappy flex section. Since most of my exhaust is stock except axle back, I opted for the Lethal Performance mid pipe. Easy install...

Steering off Center!?! Multiple Wheel Alignments CAN'T Correct!

Mine is the same way but it probably doesnt bother me to that extent.

New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

Update: I previously reported slight drone around 2k rpm. Well lately, it actually worsened. Found out recently that one of the flex sections had failed. Could be when I was wrangling the Gibson that the cheap OE flex section developed a leak and proceeded to get worse with time. In any...

WARNING recall 22S27 is more than what they are telling us

Any PCM flash will revert to stock. I wonder if the strategy code is the same with just the addition of the parking brake. I also wonder if you just flash your aftermarket tune, does the parking brake addition go away too then? Would you need your tuner to revise the new stock tune to retain...

    2020 vs 2021 used ST

Your lucky. The 3 bolt subframe came in about 12/2020.

    2020 vs 2021 used ST

When were each of these made? I would prefer a late build MY2020 or an early build MY2021. As far as build quality, every one coming out of Chicago can be different. Being a used car, you never know if it was someone's former lemon. It pays to inspect and test drive these cars very carefully.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Well if you look at the text, it is a little odd to mention the one-time repair of the "rear axle bolts and housing (if needed)" but make no mention of possible damage to axles, and drive shaft that many have reported were damaged from that bolt shearing off.

Is the interior REALLY that bad??

Bottom line: it's acceptable for most

Body shop put 23 miles on my car.

To me, that is a lot of miles. They were obviously running errands with it. But like others, definitely don't make a stink about it until you get your car back. If not happy with their explanation afterwards, just do a review of the place and mention the miles put on. It's not so many miles...
