    Pirelli Scorpion Zero Tires

Mine was not in the fixable area of the tire. On the outer edge of the shoulder almost in the sidewall. I think the Explorers with Michelin tires have self-sealing run-flat tires. These Pirelli's are not. https://www.wikihow.com/Identify-Run-Flat-Tires

    Pirelli Scorpion Zero Tires

They are not run-flat tires. It was flat that's why I needed a new tire.

    Pirelli Scorpion Zero Tires

At only 3100 miles, I got a drywall screw in the inner shoulder of the tire which of course can never be repaired. NTB ordered a new one for me for 313.99 and it was received in 4 days. When they unpacked the tire and saw the foam insulation inside, they told me these tires can never be...

    Liftgate keeps closing

Maybe it's because the deflector is missing??? Has anyone noticed a difference when it's installed? I'm still waiting for mine and mine is way to sensitive both opening and closing. I can quickly walk around the back and the liftgate opens and I haven't kicked under the bumper. A couple times...

    Transmission troubles

This does happened sometimes when I'm in Sport Mode. Is that in Sport Mode?

    Transmission troubles

I've noticed this as well when you're light on the throttle shifting to 2nd almost stalls. Either I got used to it or it got better now that I have 3100 miles.

What would you have purchased if there were no Explorer ST?

I was seriously considering a 2019 Nautilus, 2019 Edge ST or CPO Continental. I'm happy with my choice!

Has anyone downloaded any system updates over wifi yet?

I had this too last week and all I noticed was that the app looked slightly different than before.

Dripping in Driveway at Cold Start

So I've had my ST for almost 3 months and 2500 miles and have noticed liquid dripping under the driver's side middle of the vehicle after cold starts. I've kept an eye on this at every cold start making sure it's not coolant or other fluid. It seems to be a lot of condensation in the exhaust...

    Capless fuel tank issues?

That's what she said! LOL But seriously my issues with this vary from pump to pump and certain gas stations. I had the same issue with my 2013 MKZ at different pumps. It seems it's a pressure issue and someone at the station recently said he thinks it happens more when the pump is low on gas.

    hvac/defroster vent issue

Has anyone noticed the vent on the passenger side rear door opening sort of where the elbow of the 2nd row passenger would be? When I used remote start and opened that rear passenger side door it was blowing warm air out of 2 vents there. After 2 months of ownership I wasn't aware of these...

    Random pleasures

Yes both turning off the engine and opening the door will put the transmission in park both on Lincoln's push button shifter and Ford's rotary shifter. I imagine other brands do the same for safety reasons. Remember in the old days, before keyless push button start, you could not take your key...

    Random pleasures

At work I drive a Fusion Hybrid with rotary shifter, it does the same thing. My 2013 MKZ push button transmission also did that. It's a safety feature of the new electronic transmissions.

    Condensation in headlights?

Same here, happened once the day I brought it home from the dealer. Never noticed it again after 2 months of ownership. I think it was after detailing and sudden drop in temperatures.

    Oil Life Monitor Glitch

So my brand new Explorer just hit 1000 miles yesterday. Prior to this at around 500 miles when oil life indicator hit 96% it changed to 0%. I reset it and again at 96% it displays 0%. I checked the FordPass app and it displays 96% consistently but every time I check the instrument panel it...
