    Transmission issue

Mine was rebuilt at 25K miles and so far over a year later and 13K miles driven it hasn't recurred. Crossing my fingers!

Dealer and PremiumCare saying rattling flex pipes no longer being covered under warranty

Mine was inspected 2 years ago for the rattle and exhaust smell and they determined the TSB for the flex pipe was the solution. But since 2 years ago there has been an actual recall on the driver's side catalytic converter which was re-engineered with different casting so the seam won't...

Dealer and PremiumCare saying rattling flex pipes no longer being covered under warranty

Exhaust smell is a bad catalytic converter which was replaced for me last fall and smell is gone.

    Got a call today

I've had the side cameras go blue once or twice but never the front camera. Every now and then the rear goes blue for a few seconds and goes back to normal. So I may not do this latest recall because I don't want to make matters worse.

    Replacement windshield

Mine is a 2020 and I never noticed that on mine but I don't care because I like having heated windshield wipers and front camera washer, etc.

    Catalytic Converters

Mine had exhaust smell on cold start.

    Back-up Camera Issues

I have actually had one of my side cameras go blue once or twice in the last 6 months but I never had it checked out because the next time I used it, the camera was back.

    Back-up Camera Issues

I got my notice in mail today. I had the camera replaced a year ago along with the last recall software update. It is working fine most of the time but it's weird that when it goes blue for a few seconds it's usually during rainy/wet conditions. Maybe just a coincidence or there's a problem with...

    HELP WITH CODE P0456

I learned from my last vehicle, 2013 MKZ, overfilling at the gas pump causes this. Mine never had the check engine light but after some fill ups the engine would seem to stall at idle and would go back to normal after a short drive.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

My 2020 has those lights and camera washers plus the extra bolt.

    Ugh! First Speeding Ticket

I've never been pulled over in this ST over past 3 years. I did get one speed camera ticket which carries no points, but it was a trick by a new camera on a street with varying speed limits over a 2 mile stretch, literally from 25 to 35 to 50 down to 30, etc. I'm annoyed with people in the fast...

    Real world mpg

I do it every fill up following in my dad's footsteps over the last 40 years. LOL

    Real world mpg

There's a big difference between the on-board MPG displayed on the dash and what I calculate at each fill up. The display reads 19.5 MPG when my actual MPG is 17.5-18 MPG. My average MPH per tankful is usually between 25-30 MPH due to stop & go traffc in mixed driving.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Agreed that extreme conditions are different than average, normal use. My 2003 Infinti had auto temperature control and quickly became a fan of that and other convenient features that all vehicles seem to have these days. Back to the parking brake discussion. I won't ever miss the days of foot...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I am trusting through normal use and practice not blind faith! Also note I said sometimes the engineers know what they're doing. My laundry list of defects, failures and warranty repairs on my 2020 prove that the engineers do not always know what they're doing, especially when they trust the...

    CV Boots

UPDATE: I went in for an oil change on Thursday, and they confirmed both CV boots are leaking and must be replaced. They ordered parts for me and one is on backorder. This will be under powertrain warranty with no deductible, as I am at over 36,200 miles. My Extended Warranty would have covered...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I've only used that defrost button once or twice a year in extreme weather, i.e. sudden temperature drop, heavy snow/ice. It's pretty rare. Most of the time my last 3 Ford vehicles with auto HVAC automatically turns on the AC compressor when humidity is high enough to cause windows to fog up...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I don't understand why some don't know how to use an automatic e-brake. It's not that complicated and it does not rev, chirp or almost hit something unless you have leg muscle spasms and blame it on the feature. I think these are the same people who don't know how an automatic HVAC thermostat...
