Heya! I'm new here too and just traded in my black on grey 2016 Flex Limited for a black on black 2024 Explorer ST last week.

Candidly: I am very happy with the ST but I miss the Flex a little. When I saw the dealer listing pop up for the Flex I traded I felt almost like I had abandoned a beloved pet at the pound! It's silly. I know it takes time to get used to a new ride after 8 years.

Anyway, very happy to be here and I'm appreciating everyone's posts, Not even 600 miles on the OD and the ST already has that 2nd row rattle at the base where the seats are installed. Thanks to y'all: at least I know what it is and how to fix it. Thanks everybody for your contributions!!
Congrats on your new ST and welcome to the forum.

I still have a list of previously owned cars that pop back in my head from time to time that I miss.

2015 4 Runner TRD
Greetings, new to Forum seeking owners feedback on ST. Strongly considering ordering a 2025, upgrading from my 2015 4 Runner TRD. Significant HP gain and tech upgrade with an ST but interested in comfort for long trips (7-10 he driving days). 4 Runner seats great as daily driver and offroad but not for long durations. Feedback appreciated from ST owners on seats and also experiences on negotiating price on a 25 order (unfortunately dont have any direct access to Ford Plans).

We've taken our '21 from Sacramento to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Denver. We're very happy with the comfort even lowered on H&R springs and we don't use the massage seats!

Welcome to the forum.

We test drove a 4Runner before buying the ST and the room and comfort do not even compare. Can't tell you about long trips in the 4Runner but I can tell you that the ST performs well for these type of things, even in the 3rd row. The 3rd row in a 4Runner are a joke and made for just small kids.
