No, changing the below underlined value in Forscan tells the APIM to use the 8" screen.

I just completed the downgrade to the 8” screen. The only value I changed in FORScan was the APIM ASBUILT 7D0-03-01 “0802” to “0502”.

My driver massage settings are now limited to Rolling Up Back and Rolling Down Back and my passenger massage settings don’t work at all.

Has anyone else encountered this?

What does this mean? You should only be changing to the value in bold... 7D0-03-01 xxxx 00xx xx--

Dumb question and forgive my ignorance on this, but would it be possible to mount the 10.1 display in landscape? Is there a way with forscan or something to tell it to rotate the view?

For the backup camera, can it be displayed full screen without the 360 screen?

On the 10” you can hide the 360 and make backup camera full width

The swap looks great, and still something I'm seriously considering. My question is how do you switch from Carplay back to the main vehicle screen, like to get to the audio or factory navigation links? Thanks!

The 10" horizontal screen from the Aviator kinda sorta fits with a little ingenuity.

Can we get some more information about this swap? Just sourcing the parts and what changes were made in Forscan for this to work?

Part #s are kinda wonky, seems Lincoln has changed the screen part # at least once since 2020 and Ford has updated some of the parts as well. You should be able to find all of them on ebay if you look regularly. Keep in mind there are two versions of the 8" vents one has the chrome trim the other doesn't.

I did the swap last weekend pretty easy, once some of the 3d printed mounts come out the finished product will look better.

On android auto you press the button in the lower left corner and select the Ford icon or the Lincoln icon if you did the switch to that screen. I am sure its some what similiar on carplay.

Also I wonder if the 2024 escape screen would fit. I believe it's like 14 inch screen landscape.

Fitting and getting the APIM to report the correct resolution are two different things, the reason the Lincoln screen works is due Aviator and Explorer using the same hardware behind the scenes and being able to select the Aviator profile in Forscan.
