Streaming on the infotainment?

I am not a tech person so bear with me. I just learned about the magic box thing that allows you to stream from your phone to the infotainment screen. Although its over $200 bucks, are there any other, less expensive options?

Also, I use android only.

Thanks, I should have specified that I have an android.

I saw alot of the wireless thingsvin Amazon that will let u hook up wireless and they r more then half the price of these ones. I wouldn't rush into anything until u look around !!! There have been posts on here about this so use the search here and see

Is there one that allows video playback while in drive so passengers can watch on the screen?

I bought the magic box and it was working fine but then it started glitching out rebooting disconnecting. It was crazy I called them. They had me do an update which I did and then I realized I just couldn’t live with it anymore. It was just too glitchy for the money that they’re asking I sent it all back. I even had the remote control then I realized it’s better to just get a regular tablet and get a good holder for it Does the same thing in fact you can still use navigation and watch a movie?
