Was anyone able to spec their ST with adaptive headlamps?

I don’t recall and option to spec it with and I just realized I don’t have them.

I don't believe this was an option for explorers

Interesting...

I’m just noticing on the site it says “available” and there’s video online from ford on how to turn on. But no mention to spec it.

Yup, definitely a platinum only feature
There's a couple YouTube videos on it.

Your headlights will then with your steering wheel
Turn left, the headlights aim left
Turn right, they aim right

It's a cool feature

Just watched a video on it... that's really cool. Reminds me of the mid 2000's Passat, except I'm sure it is a much better iteration on the Explorer

My 2010 MKZ and 2013 MKZ both had adaptive headlights but honestly can't say that I really miss having them. They were kinda gimmicky and didn't really always aim very accurately on those earlier models. I think the new LED headlamps have a better adaptive feature.

I actually find it a little odd that the Explorer ST doesn't at least have the projector housings like the platinum trim level. I currently have a '19 Edge ST (long story Ford is going to buy it back) and it has adaptive LED projectors (the adaptive part... ehhh) but the light pattern is far better. I have a '21 Explorer ST on order and think it's strange that the larger (more expensive) model doesn't come with this. I think even the fogs are better on the Edge, and I'm sure it would cost and arm, leg, and kidney to swap the housings to platinum for the projectors (losing the blacked out look as well). Just my opinion.
