I'm new to the ST world. I am being quoted $2,500 - $5,000 over sticker on cars en route/in lot and MSRP for custom orders. Is this the norm?

Also, would appreciate if anyone has any leads/know any dealers in east coast - feel free to PM me.

Thank you

Normal IMO. Dealer inventory and orders are going over MSRP. Orders are going MSRP minus $1500 unless you get some other deal or find one of the invoice dealers.

When I was looking before ordering I saw anywhere from $3K to 6K on in stock vehicles.

if you are patient enough to factory order thru a dealer... most dealers don't add on markups on special orders..... but at the expense of time..... I ordered mine mid Nov... picking up this weekend :) :)

I got quoted just under MSRP, plus any Ford deals or rebates, plus no dealer fees. So I'd say that's a terrible deal.

I would check a different dealer before purchasing. Ford is cracking down on dealers marking up vehicles more than suggested retail price. Ford said that dealers that don't follow their suggest retail price will loose priority for vehicle delivery. It hurts fords sales, and as a ford employee it hurts my bonus.

We looked around at another dealership that had a few in stock and wondered why they had them and the dealership we were using couldn’t get one for us. Well it turns out they marked theirs up almost 20k more. They were siting on 3 or 4 STs at the time. So we talked to the GM at our dealership and he said the same thing. Ford was getting tired of the dealerships that were marking up and was going to start to take away their inventory because of it.
