WTH was Ford thinking when they designed this exhaust??
Just installed a MBRP catback and it literally weighs half the weight of the oem exhaust.
Just crazy

My Kaw 11 was the same. Stock pipe was 30lb, the Muzzy weighs a hair under 9lb.

They were probably thinking that extra weight is compensated for by the stuff they de-content. :ROFLMAO:

They are thinking:
1. Cost
2. Quiet because 99% of Explorer owners don't give a shit about the exhaust except for the "cool" double tips, even though they are fake

If you want a car that is designed for performance then get in line for a Ferrari or Porsche.

^^^Agree. Not just designed for performance but designed to have the ultimate sounding car. There is a reason you can ID a Ferrari by the sound.....nothing like it in the world IMO. ALL of the ICE supercars all sound absolutely killer IMO because they were designed to sound that way.
